A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. el-moderno-desarrollo-urbanstico-de-ocean-village-con-el-hotel-flotante-sunborn_22726829852_o turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-168_22124295853_o 25-noviember-2014-cola-de-salida-gibraltar-07_15694991988_o hospital-de-campaa_49726814116_o regiment-freedom-of-city-0097_15439635082_o Gibraltar - Preparations for Operation Sea Snake start at Eastern beach with tanks img_0523_22296010243_o img_9968_21468037385_o 2g9a0569_26757765932_o visita-platini-gibraltar-rock-cup-2014-17_13967065239_o strongman-en-casemates_9997709236_o 2g9a1992_49048518508_o Mezquita-30 P1080718 2g9a2096_48706248771_o img_4069_48699660836_o 2g9a6724_48204067811_o 2g9a8334_46634164131_o img_1264_36830746752_o img_9289_44830587042_o img_5427_41421467015_o img_0789_39737053065_o img_8986_38332994822_o_26590190319_o 6-enero-2016-cabalgata-reyes-magos-gibraltar-ii-6_32102452856_o 2g9a5200_22782852828_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-63_30962806365_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36978708796_o 2g9a9448_29481547975_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36978714326_o 04-sep-2016-gibraltar-music-festival_29455738262_o 123605_29462634486_o 124669_29462630966_o 18-jun-2016-noche-de-la-calentita-en-gibraltar_27799753256_o Gibraltar - 9th May 2015 - Mo Anton took the first prize at the V Gibraltar Song Festival held at the Tercentennary Sports Hall in Gibraltar.Fourteen singers competed in the final from across the world following over 700 entries.
