Police were today requested to make their presence known at the polling station by Line Wall Road after GSD activists handing leaflets outside the polling station are alleged to have made complaints over the use of the language used by a GSLP/Liberal activist handing leaflets to voters of Moroccan origins.According to reports received by Core Photography the GSD activists complained that the use of the native Moroccan language should not be allowed by those guiding voters outside the polling station, claiming the "official language in Gibraltar is English," according to witnesses present during the incident. This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. skywalk-gibraltar-10-photo-taken-for-bovis-koala-jv-by-meteogibs-photographer-stephen-ball_41367547850_o 7u3a9411_49597828732_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions img_6581_35154403340_o 7u3a6456_49454013878_o intercambio-cultural-entre-gibraltar-y-cdiz_42178240204_o img_0466_22928235021_o img_2705_45564866351_o Gibraltar-Barbary-Macaques The Anniversary of The Battle Of Trafalgar, An act of remembrance held within The Trafalgar Cemetery Gibraltar, Sunday 18th October 2015.VIP's included Interim Governor, Chief Minister, 2nd Sea Lord and CBF.
