The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home. img_2772_25225960806_o 2015_09_14__0073_21397728526_o 2015_09_14__0244_21432038461_o celebracin-entrada-gibraltar-en-la-uefa-17_9222044379_o 10-septiembre-2014-national-day10_15014790649_o 1_7U3A4578 mr-albert-beiso-1_50825160241_o img_8845_50855055583_o 047_20352863978_o img_4313_20513607536_o img_4346_20513500966_o INSTAL3 royal-gibraltar-police-5-sir-francis-richards_48859906897_o
