This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. 6-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-iii69_21029591069_o elecciones-generales-gibraltar-26-de-noviembre-de-2015_22696983974_o 3-de-septiembre-de-2016-gibraltar-music-festival-59_29439810185_o img_5266_34313435421_o img_4747_46113677051_o henry-cavill-en-la-carrera-del-350-aniversario-de-los-royal-marines-en-gibraltar-25-octubre-201411_15623758395_o festival-literario-gibraltar04_10496967536_o 2012-Royal-Visit-of-TRH-The-Earl-Countess-of-Wessex gibraltar-estonia-marzo-2014-2_12956397774_o strongmen-201318_10019374833_o 2g9a4230_48230715447_o 1_img_0120_43733171462_o img_5341_48919810412_o 25-abr-2019-visita-fabin-picardo-al-ies-virgen-de-la-esperanza-de-la-lnea-18_47644436292_o img_4043_45831070651_o img_1192_36830777852_o untitled_pnorama1_43969649045_o dscf7916_42790052270_o img_7239_34614697802_o CM & Franco Visit Frontier Exhibition 060619 { seq} ( Photo John Bugeja) at the JMHall pan-11_34776860145_o img_2136_36349095513_o 7-feb-2017-encuentro-entre-fabin-picardo-y-el-alcalde-de-la-lnea-juan-franco_31949828443_o 2g9a5973_31113360585_o_31001126141_o 2g9a5849_30746111350_o_31001135911_o 2g9a7403_29833252185_o 2g9a9272_29482473415_o visita-oficial-del-gobernador-al-puerto-de-gibraltar_25881620910_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off 5-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-66_21000539539_o The Gibraltar Music Festival ceremonia-de-las-llaves-gibraltar-25092014-19_15171158110_o img_2767_24621603834_o 2015_09_14__0279_20802416063_o 19-agosto-2015-celebracin-del-centenario-del-nacimiento-de-sir-joshua-hassan_20520661858_o GIBRALTAR NATIONAL DAY gibraltar-evacuation-dsc_4206_17816332128_o 75-years-gibraltar-honouring-generation-39_17560695515_o 10-septiembre-2014-national-day07_15198561321_o Kingston-7 gib-cristal-1_20546959291_o Remembrance-Sunday-2022-2 fabin-picardo-ministro-principal-gibraltar-01_9225023024_o
