Police were today requested to make their presence known at the polling station by Line Wall Road after GSD activists handing leaflets outside the polling station are alleged to have made complaints over the use of the language used by a GSLP/Liberal activist handing leaflets to voters of Moroccan origins.According to reports received by Core Photography the GSD activists complained that the use of the native Moroccan language should not be allowed by those guiding voters outside the polling station, claiming the "official language in Gibraltar is English," according to witnesses present during the incident. This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. img_0506_32242283468_o 6-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-iii16_21029722339_o img_6793_34732167833_o proyecto-de-construccin-de-las-dos-nuevas-escuelas-de-bayside-y-westside-en-waterport-gibraltar_27712734898_o 2g9a0445_26246343674_o henry-cavill-en-la-carrera-del-350-aniversario-de-los-royal-marines-en-gibraltar-25-octubre-201419_15437110249_o img_4254_20920842339_o sebastian-coe-en-gibraltar_38976574495_o img_9616_40316211480_o HM-Queen-Elizabeth-II-Prince-Philip-Lifetime-of-Service 2g9a1105_48951599463_o 2g9a9496_50032885662_o 2g9a3968_49336914742_o 2g9a2574_49085939498_o 2g9a8788_48826623881_o img_2073_27855785559_o Alameda-27 Punta-Europa-26 2g9a6749_48204070016_o img_4609_48714144116_o img_5336_48919602591_o 2g9a8435_46634160591_o 2g9a8465_46634158961_o img_9308_44830575152_o img_1546_43916084194_o img_4638_23521812868_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-89_26771253139_o 6-enero-2016-cabalgata-reyes-magos-gibraltar-ii-37_31992468812_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-94_38490781956_o 05-mayo-17-visita-claire-moody-28_34428542036_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36770650960_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_37026137181_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_37168276355_o 2g9a5298_30659927820_o 2g9a5355_25325890909_o 8-noviembre-2016-premios-certamen-internacional-de-arte-de-gibraltar-18_30843305696_o 8-noviembre-2016-premios-certamen-internacional-de-arte-de-gibraltar-28_30763271122_o 10-feb-2016-celebracin-en-gibraltar-del-ao-nuevo-chino-25_24645626450_o 3-de-diciembre-2015-bienvenida-al-atlethic-de-bilbao-10_23471137436_o ii-jornada-y-clausura-xvii-juegos-del-estrecho07_14129452059_o 2g9a1648_27170660921_o img_1486_24884472501_o gobernador-de-gibraltar-edward-davis_23870203443_o 1_2G9A0459 2g9a6492_51342922948_o El-Real-Regimiento-de-Gibraltar-actua-de-nuevo-como-Regimiento-de-Guardia-de-la-Reina-en-Londres-12 fabin-picardo-ministro-principal-gibraltar-09_9225024820_o
