Vistas de Gibraltar nueva-ruta-area-gibraltar-manchester_28004546131_o Gibraltar - 26th November 2015 - (Both Joe Bossano for GSLP/Libs and Kim Karnani Santos attended Line Wall Road where tensions were high at one point this morning). Police were today requested to make their presence known at the polling station by Line Wall Road after GSD activists handing leaflets outside the polling station are alleged to have made complaints over the use of the language used by a GSLP/Liberal activist handing leaflets to voters of Moroccan origins.According to reports received by Core Photography the GSD activists complained that the use of the native Moroccan language should not be allowed by those guiding voters outside the polling station, claiming the "official language in Gibraltar is English," according to witnesses present during the incident. This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. monos-zona-alta-del-pen-con-turistas-07_9222300513_o 21-agosto-2014-colas-de-entrada-y-salida-de-gibraltar01_14803072069_o colas-de-salida-26-01-15_16379332395_o asher-moodie-reino-unido-junto-a-bailarines-de-la-mediterranen-dance-school-y-dance-academy_14033036985_o 6-de-septiembre-2014-iii-gibraltar-music-festival23_14981866377_o fiesta-del-1-de-mayo-en-gibraltar-01052015-27_17364172581_o img_8806_20133531022_o img_5330_34284293662_o default 2g9a0501_26784197661_o bayside-panorama5_48800933633_o tradewise-chess-festival-entrevistas-y-ambiente32_12249470484_o 2g9a0934_48805747468_o 7u3a5860_49425350083_o Cuevas-de-San-Miguel-13 gorhams-cave-5_39633656241_o Punta-Europa-25 2g9a0690_48919806857_o 2g9a8354_32759670148_o 2g9a4627_48713813848_o dscf7845_44550416902_o img_9280_29944483857_o img_1498_43916115954_o img_9470_44160740494_o img_2368_25970934887_o CM & Franco Visit Frontier Exhibition 060619 { seq} ( Photo John Bugeja) at the JMHall llegan-los-generadores-para-la-nueva-estacin-elctrica_31427019116_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354078433_o 12-de-noviembre-de-2016-visita-del-ministro-licudi-al-mein-schiff-17_30874582671_o img_3727_37163096095_o 11-november-2016-98-ceremonia-del-da-del-armisticio-en-gibraltar-10_30800440092_o 11-november-2016-98-ceremonia-del-da-del-armisticio-en-gibraltar-53_30828719641_o img_5206_29190541150_o 21-jun-2016-inauguracin-puente-colgante-en-la-reserva-natural-del-pen-de-gibraltar_27799940106_o 2g9a0187_26882447291_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off img_9059_24481617385_o gibraltar-300-aos-de-utrecht-1372013-66_9289024145_o gobernador-de-gibraltar-edward-davis_24201467920_o Gibraltar -28th September 2015 - The Governor of Gibraltar today departed From office bidding Farewell to politicians and the armed Forces in what ended up to be a low Key ceremony.
