This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. 2g9a9911_48908041352_o 9-de-diciembre-de-2015-ceremonia-inaugural-del-nuevo-parlamento-de-gibraltar_23266215749_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. colas-de-salida-26-01-15_15756867054_o img_3431_34202604366_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - As Gibraltar woke up for work, John Macintosh Hall closed the count to the general election placing the GSLP/Liberal Alliance as the party to form Government. With an overall mayority 68.03% against the GSD's 31.37, the GSLP/Liberals recorded an overwhelming victory which once again sees Fabian Picardo as the Chief Minister of Gibraltar. The results were: -PICARDO, Fabian Raymond 10852 GARCIA, Joseph John 10661 CORTES, John Emmanuel 10529 LICUDI, Gilbert Horace 10379 ISOLA , Albert Joseph 10313 COSTA, Neil Francis 10048 SACRAMENTO, Samantha Jane 9822 LINARES, Steven Ernest 9690BALBAN, Paul John 9511 BOSSANO, Joseph John 9145FEETHAM, Daniel Anthony 5054 HASSAN NAHON, Marlene Dinah Esther 4892 PHILLIPS, Elliott John 4784 REYES, Edwin Joseph 4766 CLINTON, Roy Mark 4733 HAMMOND, Trevor Nicholas 4578LLAMAS, Lawrence Francis 4565 VASQUEZ, Robert Michael 4535 WHITE, Christopher George 4324 KARNANI-SANTOS, Kim Sylvia 4314 img_9996_43016051505_o img_0558_44297154880_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-publico-y-ambiente_9699812129_o la-galera-gustavo-bacarisas-de-gibraltar-acoge-las-obras-realizadas-durante-los-talleres-de-verano-del-servicio-de-trastornos-del-aprendizaje_24404003911_o 3-de-septiembre-de-2016-gibraltar-music-festival-91_29360016551_o img_2599_44650702245_o sebastian-coe-en-gibraltar_39876284521_o 15-de-enero-2016-simulacro-de-rescate-con-helicpteros-merlin-mk3-en-gibraltar-14_24398432345_o ii-jornada-y-clausura-xvii-juegos-del-estrecho15_14129432288_o 2g9a3992_49336914957_o 7u3a5326_49336695366_o jews-gate-cemetery-0490_39633928421_o Alameda-18 2g9a83_46634164981_o img_1793_36605215730_o 7U3A2452 img_1464_29696617697_o OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA 6-enero-2016-cabalgata-reyes-magos-gibraltar-ii-42_32022600381_o img_9525_36030356192_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_37168271395_o 2g9a5146_30659658640_o 2g9a4488_30280747484_o 11-november-2016-98-ceremonia-del-da-del-armisticio-en-gibraltar-5_30280695653_o 2g9a9584_28859278833_o 18-jun-2016-noche-de-la-calentita-en-gibraltar_27799753256_o Escala-inaugural-del-crucero-Ovation-of-the-Seas-61 flashmob-sunborn-gibraltar-1411201458_15628562730_o Gibraltar - 7th September 2015 - Gibraltar celebrated its first official Evacuation Commemoration Day with a concert hosted by the government of Gibraltar for some 800 evacuee survivors from the Second World War. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home. img_3318_27839981016_o img_3331_27839974386_o img_2495_24464382893_o gibraltar-300-aos-de-utrecht-1372013-79_9291702944_o 2015_09_14__0078_21423941505_o el-exministro-de-asuntos-exteriores-miguel-ngel-moratinos-i-saluda-al-diputado-socialista-salvador-de-la-encina_21432496621_o 9-septiembre-15-national-day-2015-85_21112509100_o 19-agosto-2015-celebracin-del-centenario-del-nacimiento-de-sir-joshua-hassan_20708699935_o Gibraltar, 25 septiembre 2013.
