A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. 21-agosto-2014-colas-de-entrada-y-salida-de-gibraltar28_14966726936_o img_0043_43202820544_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - As Gibraltar woke up for work, John Macintosh Hall closed the count to the general election placing the GSLP/Liberal Alliance as the party to form Government. With an overall mayority 68.03% against the GSD's 31.37, the GSLP/Liberals recorded an overwhelming victory which once again sees Fabian Picardo as the Chief Minister of Gibraltar. The results were: -PICARDO, Fabian Raymond 10852 GARCIA, Joseph John 10661 CORTES, John Emmanuel 10529 LICUDI, Gilbert Horace 10379 ISOLA , Albert Joseph 10313 COSTA, Neil Francis 10048 SACRAMENTO, Samantha Jane 9822 LINARES, Steven Ernest 9690BALBAN, Paul John 9511 BOSSANO, Joseph John 9145FEETHAM, Daniel Anthony 5054 HASSAN NAHON, Marlene Dinah Esther 4892 PHILLIPS, Elliott John 4784 REYES, Edwin Joseph 4766 CLINTON, Roy Mark 4733 HAMMOND, Trevor Nicholas 4578LLAMAS, Lawrence Francis 4565 VASQUEZ, Robert Michael 4535 WHITE, Christopher George 4324 KARNANI-SANTOS, Kim Sylvia 4314 gibraltar-world-music-festival-dia-2-mark-eliyahu-ensemble-14_9225486542_o presentacin-libro-yanitos-tllez29_12102115703_o gibraltar-world-music-festival-dia-2-yasmin-levy-mediterranean-andalusian-orchestra-ashkelon-21_9222720375_o foot-10_17680678492_o gibraltar-world-music-festival-dia-1-the-sweet-canary-ensemble-39_9222688899_o 2012-RAF-Squadrons-Issue-1-2 2g9a4910_32174832740_o_31742371313_o visita-platini-gibraltar-rock-cup-2014-30_13967075410_o 27-ene-17-alumnos-de-la-escuela-obispo-fitzgerald-de-gibraltar-conmemoran-el-holocausto_31742371673_o tradewise-chess-festival-entrevistas-y-ambiente22_12249489354_o 2g9a8298_48875283342_o strongmen-201338_10019112414_o La-frontera-cerrada-vista-desde-Espana-con-numerosas-personas-agolpadas-para-poder-ver-a-sus-seres-queridos.-Fotografia-de-Gibraltar-Chronicle img_4121_21276200800_o 23-jun-2019-blogueros-espaoles-de-viajes-visitan-el-pen_48131095178_o img_5096_48919807952_o 2g9a5937_48204654177_o img_5131_48919069658_o img_5418_48919073343_o img_1042_36599994636_o img_8149_30729847318_o img_0741_26036930368_o img_1458_36624005480_o img_0476_36342234491_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36770649700_o 2g9a5211_30873118811_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_37168262035_o 2g9a5306_22783048628_o 2g9a7417_29205888734_o 18-jun-2016-noche-de-la-calentita-en-gibraltar_27732675872_o 2-jun-2016-salvas-en-gibraltar-honor-al-aniversario-de-coronacin-de-la-reina_26808902224_o Escala-inaugural-del-crucero-Ovation-of-the-Seas-11 Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off Gibraltar - 7th September 2015 - Gibraltar celebrated its first official Evacuation Commemoration Day with a concert hosted by the government of Gibraltar for some 800 evacuee survivors from the Second World War. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home. 2g9a9349_27262518223_o 2g9a9917_27839929266_o gibraltar-300-aos-de-utrecht-1372013-62_9291836418_o ceremonia-75-anos-evacuacion-gibraltar-22052015-21_17808981609_o gibraltar-300-aos-de-utrecht-1372013-43_9289176217_o 20-de-agosto-2015-celebraciones-aniversario-sir-joshua-hassan-mar-del-sur-39_20570007560_o fabian-picardo-en-los-cursos-de-verano-de-san-roque-16072015-01_19558584428_o HMS Albion and RFA Lyme Bay leave Gibraltar THE EARL OF WESSEX VISITS HER MAJESTY’S NAVAL BASE
