A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-703_22122710503_o los-macacos-en-libertad-en-el-pen-de-gibraltar-son-divertidos-pero-alimentarlos-est-penado_22713469506_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-publico-y-ambiente_9699812129_o elecciones-generales-gibraltar-26-de-noviembre-de-2015_23299055366_o festival-internacional-de-jazz-gibraltar-25102014-31_15607267916_o gibraltar-world-music-festival-dia-1-the-sweet-canary-ensemble-36_9222684651_o 2g9a0278_48801281251_o inauguracin-exposicin-vctor-quintanilla-en-gibraltar_25244581614_o gibraltar-estonia-marzo-2014-4_12955950905_o img_0818_21409371238_o img_9406_42123280591_o 5-febrero-2015-entrega-premios-festival-internacional-de-ajedrez-tradewise-de-gibraltar-13_16266652797_o 2g9a8858_48826626511_o img_9587_42077109932_o bl1605-1_green_surbico-2_48826661046_o img_9692_20842025933_o ragged-staff-2_27855465879_o 2g9a9496_50032885662_o ragged-staff-gate-1_27855442659_o 2g9a4532_48713811653_o img_2989_44603357891_o untitled_panorama4_44550408182_o 20171214_111137_24195069727_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-115_26771239399_o img_0505_36342252551_o img_3546_37604620116_o 7-feb-2017-encuentro-entre-fabin-picardo-y-el-alcalde-de-la-lnea-juan-franco_31949827873_o unled_panorama1_36832819316_o 2g9a7462_29750673341_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-77_29524294411_o 10-feb-2016-celebracin-en-gibraltar-del-ao-nuevo-chino-41_24310520824_o Gibraltar - 7th September 2015 - Gibraltar celebrated its first official Evacuation Commemoration Day with a concert hosted by the government of Gibraltar for some 800 evacuee survivors from the Second World War.
