Primer vuelo Gibraltar-Marrakech untitled_panorama3_20090215171_o Gibraltar - 26th November 2015 - (Line Wall Road Polling station where tensions were high at one point this morning) - Police were today requested to make their presence known at the polling station by Line Wall Road after GSD activists handing leaflets outside the polling station are alleged to have made complaints over the use of the language used by a GSLP/Liberal activist handing leaflets to voters of Moroccan origins.According to reports received by Core Photography the GSD activists complained that the use of the native Moroccan language should not be allowed by those guiding voters outside the polling station, claiming the "official language in Gibraltar is English," according to witnesses present during the incident. This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. img_9956_43016042775_o gibraltar-world-music-festival-dia-2-yasmin-levy-mediterranean-andalusian-orchestra-ashkelon-28_9225502286_o fiesta-del-1-de-mayo-en-gibraltar-01052015-11_17338528596_o 2g9a0511_26578905920_o proyecto-de-construccin-de-las-dos-nuevas-escuelas-de-bayside-y-westside-en-waterport-gibraltar_41541645772_o festival-literario-gibraltar17_10496865205_o img_0628_20974125064_o lincoln-uefa-21072015-07_19908496175_o 2g9a0367_48801428527_o strongmen-201325_10019328873_o 62032-0-02 2g9a1159_48951598628_o 2g9a2542_49085937583_o 7u3a5234_49336695886_o 7u3a5269_49336695326_o city-hall_25760947638_o lighthouse_25761731128_o heritage100_27855282859_o dav img_9963_41290383175_o img_1740_36193472203_o reunin-del-ministro-principal-con-susana-daz-en-sevilla_38993310015_o img_9355_31008101638_o img_8818_24494308768_o img_1414_30765092938_o pan-11_34776860145_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-87_24674695948_o 6-enero-2016-cabalgata-reyes-magos-gibraltar-ii-52_32141128905_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-122_38515437032_o 2g9a5840_31113341665_o_31001136261_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354063863_o 2g9a4684_30827323161_o img_2287_36326616904_o 04-sep-2016-gibraltar-music-festival_29455738262_o img_9487_26466777322_o salvas-celebrando-nacimiento-real-4_9351222455_o Chief Rabbi of Commonwealth at Jews Gate Cemetery opening img_3312_27596440640_o visita-del-ministro-principal-a-cdiz_26431270372_o 1_7U3A4611 Gibraltar -28th September 2015 - The Governor of Gibraltar today departed From office bidding Farewell to politicians and the armed Forces in what ended up to be a low Key ceremony.
