Accesibilidad a las playas de Gibraltar nueva-ruta-area-gibraltar-manchester_27979718962_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. restauracin-cementerio-witham-11_25451427916_o turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-139_22756673241_o 25-noviember-2014-cola-de-salida-gibraltar-08_15694990748_o img_3997_15639348704_o img_8782_20141620695_o inauguracin-exposicin-vctor-quintanilla-en-gibraltar_25851361336_o 10-mayo-2016-inauguracin-nueva-ala-del-museo-de-gibraltar_26868061371_o intercambio-cultural-entre-gibraltar-y-cdiz_42178229764_o img_2677_44650714605_o 2015-University-of-Gibraltar img_0809_21571032496_o Gibraltar - Operation Sea Snake sees tanks and Royal Marines land on Eastern Beach 2g9a8323_48875082686_o sk-slovan-bratislava-europa-fc-gibraltar-09072015-17_19574860461_o strongmen-201317_10019306006_o img_9741_21276142829_o jews-gate-cemetery-0490_39633928421_o Monos-en-la-ciudad-10 P1080590 P1080630 2g9a4225_48230715982_o 23-jun-2019-blogueros-espaoles-de-viajes-visitan-el-pen_48131068691_o bty img_4578_48714310107_o img_3856_30891441707_o img_1710_36193499693_o img_9474_44160738204_o dscf7879_43693487205_o img_9487_42792483980_o img_1767_30765338848_o untitled_panorama1_36832762226_o 11-november-2016-98-ceremonia-del-da-del-armisticio-en-gibraltar-11_30800439212_o 04-sep-2016-gibraltar-music-festival_29455747202_o 10-may-2016-visita-inaugural-crucero-jewel-of-the-seas-8_26935103445_o 09-feb-2016-simulacro-de-incidente-en-el-aeropuerto-de-gibraltar_24619511350_o 3-de-diciembre-2015-bienvenida-al-atlethic-de-bilbao-13_23388770222_o Gibraltar - 7th September 2015 - Gibraltar celebrated its first official Evacuation Commemoration Day with a concert hosted by the government of Gibraltar for some 800 evacuee survivors from the Second World War. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home. 24-jun-2016-comparecencia-de-fabin-picardo-en-el-parlamento-de-gibraltar-tras-referndum-permanencia-ru-en-ue-6_27844264746_o gobernador-de-gibraltar-edward-davis_24414609451_o gibraltar-300-aos-de-utrecht-1372013-32_9289242295_o img_3827_20303360783_o gibraltar-national-day_020_9719755098_o fabian-picardo-en-los-cursos-de-verano-de-san-roque-16072015-14_19558554588_o 10-septiembre-2014-national-day68_15014872708_o 9-mayo-2014-visita-del-secretario-de-estado-del-tesoro-britnico-daniel-alexander-con-ocasin-del-da-de-europa_13981580469_o BP200031 050_20303677762_o
