2g9a9854_48908037822_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. monos-zona-alta-del-pen-con-turistas-04_9222295155_o img_3391_34112868251_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-publico-y-ambiente_9699832013_o img_8967_20148341271_o 6-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-iii59_20595293653_o img_5338_34284284592_o 27-ene-17-alumnos-de-la-escuela-obispo-fitzgerald-de-gibraltar-conmemoran-el-holocausto_31742373823_o img_7559_35347380670_o Year Pack 2017.indd 2530EE1 2019-Gibraltar-XVIII-Island-Games ii-jornada-y-clausura-xvii-juegos-del-estrecho09_14314268312_o jebel-sahara-5-el-cte-de-las-ffaa-britnicas-en-gibraltar-apunta-un-arma_22494994564_o open-tradewise-de-ajedrez-de-gibraltar_16200794597_o 2g9a2020_49048528868_o Monos-49 dscf7912_44550422882_o img_5314_40516047320_o img_0794_39737052685_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354043763_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36331786384_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-40_29605135895_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354063863_o 2g9a5311_30845025542_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-38_25326938989_o 8-noviembre-2016-premios-certamen-internacional-de-arte-de-gibraltar-9_30578377060_o 24-sep-2016-toma-de-posesin-de-carmelo-zammit-del-cargo-de-obispo-de-gibraltar_29876087011_o 2g9a7444_29720378422_o 120047_29462639836_o 27-abr-16-homenaje-a-los-trabajadores-de-gibraltar_26073142564_o img_9500_26533095916_o tom-lackey-acrobata-aereo-de-94-anos-en-gibraltar-10102014-14_15516249685_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off img_9079_26560084455_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off img_9247_26560106005_o 2g9a2159_27253037286_o img_5973_25979428056_o Gibraltar -28th September 2015 - The Governor of Gibraltar today departed From office bidding Farewell to politicians and the armed Forces in what ended up to be a low Key ceremony.
