160421 - Inauguración de la nueva marina en Gibraltar para barcos pequeños Manifestacion-por-una-frontera-humanitaria Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. 15-de-abril-2016-jardines-de-la-alameda-de-gibraltar-37_26168007360_o turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-719_22555873990_o 25-noviember-2014-cola-de-salida-gibraltar-08_15694990748_o cola-entrada-a-gibraltar-28072015-01_19467065984_o img_0043_43202820544_o 19-mayo-gibraltar-world-music-festival42_14464384235_o 6-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-iii48_21190199416_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions img_6750_35502324926_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions img_9930_21457133092_o calpeia5_48875163862_o 2g9a0300_48801426847_o lincoln-uefa-21072015-33_19908517105_o 29-de-mayo-inauguracin-xvii-juegos-del-estrecho01_14308422421_o strongmen-201317_10019306006_o img_4178_20919636190_o 2g9a9884_50032156528_o img_0152_43064730254_o 2g9a3965_49336911552_o img_0188_41972496210_o Trafalgar-6 img_4790after_38925258364_o main-street-0432_38737547025_o P1080605 reenactment_39603718062_o img_9197_38333623062_o_37651611014_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-170_24674702508_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-11_29605076135_o CM & Franco Visit Frontier Exhibition 060619 { seq} ( Photo John Bugeja) at the JMHall 11-november-2016-98-ceremonia-del-da-del-armisticio-en-gibraltar-17_30880594846_o 23-feb-2018-encuentro-entre-fabin-picardo-e-izquierda-unida-9_38627528890_o 18-jun-2016-noche-de-la-calentita-en-gibraltar_27222138773_o Escala-inaugural-del-crucero-Ovation-of-the-Seas-44 09-feb-2016-simulacro-de-incidente-en-el-aeropuerto-de-gibraltar_24547373179_o Gibraltar - 7th September 2015 - Gibraltar celebrated its first official Evacuation Commemoration Day with a concert hosted by the government of Gibraltar for some 800 evacuee survivors from the Second World War. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home. Gibraltar - 9th May 2015 - Mo Anton took the first prize at the V Gibraltar Song Festival held at the Tercentennary Sports Hall in Gibraltar.Fourteen singers competed in the final from across the world following over 700 entries. Among the singers were Greeks, French, Israeli, Spanish, Irish and Gibraltarian singers, desfile-de-la-libertad-de-la-ciudad-gibraltar07_9858770136_o 2g9a9689_27798173191_o 2g9a9850_27262581833_o img_5990_25376580433_o 7u3a6928_51342923593_o 9-mayo-2014-visita-a-gibraltar-del-secretario-de-estado-britnico-daniel-alexander-con-ocasin-del-da-de-europa_14168303804_o El-Real-Regimiento-de-Gibraltar-actua-de-nuevo-como-Regimiento-de-Guardia-de-la-Reina-en-Londres-14 Orgullo-Gibraltar-2022-17-Ministro-Principal-y-Samantha-Sacramento Orgullo-Gibraltar-2022-35-Ministro-Principal Fabian-Picardo-2
