This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. gibraltar-world-music-festival-dia-2-yasmin-levy-mediterranean-andalusian-orchestra-ashkelon-32_9222727981_o gibraltar-world-music-festival-dia-2-yasmin-levy-mediterranean-andalusian-orchestra-ashkelon-33_9225505310_o 19-junio-gibraltar-world-music-festival40_14484687413_o 6-de-septiembre-2014-iii-gibraltar-music-festival05_14981717367_o 6-de-septiembre-2014-iii-gibraltar-music-festival30_14981846977_o portaaviones-hms-queen-elizabeth-llegando-a-gibraltar-imagen-tomada-desde-uno-de-los-buques-de-apoyo-via-royal-navy-19_26293511548_o img_0462_22729115890_o 29-mayo-inauguracin-xvii-juegos-del-estrecho14_14125083129_o strongman-en-casemates_9997655365_o tradewise-chess-festival-entrevistas-y-ambiente31_12249601656_o img_9542_42077118512_o img_9550_28250751758_o 7u3a9697_49901121042_o 7u3a5760_49425344513_o 7u3a5246_49336227303_o jews-gate-cemetery-0491_24765618787_o st-michael-cave-214_38925229934_o 2g9a6802_48204117387_o 23-jun-2019-blogueros-espaoles-de-viajes-visitan-el-pen_48131160342_o img_9285_44830589932_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-77_26771254289_o 5-enero-2017-cabalgata-de-reyes-magos-gibraltar-23_31319333803_o 15-diciembre-2016-inauguracin-de-la-restauracin-de-wellingtong-front-24_31562037491_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36770669460_o inauguracin-del-monumento-a-la-mujer-en-gibraltar_30656122113_o 2g9a5862_31077419606_o_31114930505_o 8-noviembre-2016-premios-certamen-internacional-de-arte-de-gibraltar-42_30879560905_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off 85-aniversario-museo-gibraltar-23072015-24_19955884172_o a-dsc_5977_18815847353_o tom-lackey-acrobata-aereo-de-94-anos-en-gibraltar-10102014-14_15516249685_o 2g9a9344_27798145511_o 2g9a9863_27262419574_o rueda-de-prensa-de-fabin-picardo-y-joseph-garca-en-bruselas_26614257874_o gibraltar-300-aos-de-utrecht-1372013-29_9289260103_o gobernador-de-gibraltar-edward-davis_23868804724_o 20-de-agosto-2015-celebraciones-aniversario-sir-joshua-hassan-mar-del-sur-15_20569979840_o Kingston-41 Remembrance Sunday Service at the Cross of Sacrifice, Gibraltar.
