A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. 4-oct-2017-cm-y-representantes-de-gibraltar-en-cuarta-comisin-de-naciones-unidas-6_23803453418_o img_0031_43202808544_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - As Gibraltar woke up for work, John Macintosh Hall closed the count to the general election placing the GSLP/Liberal Alliance as the party to form Government. With an overall mayority 68.03% against the GSD's 31.37, the GSLP/Liberals recorded an overwhelming victory which once again sees Fabian Picardo as the Chief Minister of Gibraltar. The results were: -PICARDO, Fabian Raymond 10852 GARCIA, Joseph John 10661 CORTES, John Emmanuel 10529 LICUDI, Gilbert Horace 10379 ISOLA , Albert Joseph 10313 COSTA, Neil Francis 10048 SACRAMENTO, Samantha Jane 9822 LINARES, Steven Ernest 9690BALBAN, Paul John 9511 BOSSANO, Joseph John 9145FEETHAM, Daniel Anthony 5054 HASSAN NAHON, Marlene Dinah Esther 4892 PHILLIPS, Elliott John 4784 REYES, Edwin Joseph 4766 CLINTON, Roy Mark 4733 HAMMOND, Trevor Nicholas 4578LLAMAS, Lawrence Francis 4565 VASQUEZ, Robert Michael 4535 WHITE, Christopher George 4324 KARNANI-SANTOS, Kim Sylvia 4314 foot-13_17656391666_o img_8822_20115286646_o img_5294_33601840964_o concierto-andrea-bocelli_48720880711_o 7u3a9474_49597080448_o gibraltar-tradewise-chess-festival_010_12193939296_o Gibraltar - Preparations for Operation Sea Snake start at Eastern beach with tanks 2g9a2550_49086660532_o 2g9a0335_48800935673_o 659-boab-wa_48826285888_o Mezquita-11 heritage141_24764840957_o dscf7864_44550416152_o 2g9a4627_48713813848_o 2g9a5861_32763866855_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354091363_o 2g9a5243_30925820726_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36770668310_o 11-november-2016-98-ceremonia-del-da-del-armisticio-en-gibraltar-38_30282248684_o 2-jun-2016-salvas-en-gibraltar-honor-al-aniversario-de-coronacin-de-la-reina_27319188132_o 2-jun-2016-salvas-en-gibraltar-honor-al-aniversario-de-coronacin-de-la-reina_27417180775_o lanzamiento-de-la-campaa-gibraltar-stronger-in-europe_25784796613_o concierto-evacuados-de-gibraltar-07092015-12bn_21052079579_o a-dsc_5709_19430269812_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off img_3329_27839977496_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off 2015_09_14__0111_21397673846_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off img_4038_20872038758_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off img_3800_20924425235_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off img_6370_20285626846_o flashmob-sunborn-gibraltar-1411201443_15193971263_o 7u3a6937_51342922503_o Gibraltar -28th September 2015 - The Governor of Gibraltar today departed From office bidding Farewell to politicians and the armed Forces in what ended up to be a low Key ceremony.
