A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. con-motivo-del-da-nacional-de-gibraltar-10-de-septiembre-todos-los-escaparates-de-gibraltar-se-visten-de-blanco-y-rojo_22552710360_o el-pen-de-gibraltar_22725780112_o vista-area-de-las-colas-de-acceso-a-gibraltar_9458055407_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-olly-murs_9703106742_o presentacin-libro-yanitos-tllez01_12102595906_o miembros-del-jurado_14029877671_o 6-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-iii39_20595337603_o 6-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-iii80_21205987682_o 3-de-septiembre-de-2016-gibraltar-music-festival-86_28815938784_o img_5319_34402457706_o img_9910_20845446764_o img_4213_21097589592_o sebastian-coe-en-gibraltar_26002322868_o 7u3a0018_50032156503_o sebastian-coe-en-gibraltar_39876481121_o 7u3a5808_49425347588_o visita-platini-gibralar-rock-cup-2014-33_14153908594_o 7u3a5871_49426045672_o gib-calling-panorama3_48699321568_o 2g9a6724_48204067811_o 2g9a8305_46634164461_o 7U3A2465 img_0135_40383722430_o 23-feb-2018-encuentro-entre-fabin-picardo-e-izquierda-unida-21_38627529480_o 24-04-2017-desfile-de-la-libertad-de-la-ciudad-de-los-royal-engineers-1_34113618881_o img_9111_38333450422_o_38310539896_o 2g9a6060_30999748691_o_31001125971_o img_2168_36973620546_o 11-november-2016-98-ceremonia-del-da-del-armisticio-en-gibraltar-58_30828717191_o 21-jun-2016-inauguracin-puente-colgante-en-la-reserva-natural-del-pen-de-gibraltar_27758327081_o 18-jun-2016-noche-de-la-calentita-en-gibraltar_27222133983_o Escala-inaugural-del-crucero-Ovation-of-the-Seas-11 visita-oficial-del-gobernador-al-puerto-de-gibraltar_25551863733_o visita-oficial-del-gobernador-al-puerto-de-gibraltar_25881623510_o Gibraltar - 7th September 2015 - Gibraltar celebrated its first official Evacuation Commemoration Day with a concert hosted by the government of Gibraltar for some 800 evacuee survivors from the Second World War. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home. 5-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-40_20999463468_o flashmob-sunborn-gibraltar-1411201413_15627607729_o ceremonia-de-las-llaves-gibraltar-25092014-13_15171143560_o img_5971_26005351605_o 15-septiembre-2015-national-day-gibraltar_21325044731_o img_7618_21110706730_o 10-septiembre-2014-national-day05_15014642659_o img_4431_19917960513_o Portaaviones HMS Queen Elizabeth en Gibraltar Condes-de-Wessex-Moorish-Castle-Estate-The-Royal-Family-Twitter-2 1_7U3A4539
