He and his team then headed to Number Six where they held their first press call as the newly formed Government following a landslide victory. Gibraltar - 26th November 2015 - (Commissioner of police at Town Range Polling Station as he oversees security) Police were today requested to make their presence known at the polling station by Line Wall Road after GSD activists handing leaflets outside the polling station are alleged to have made complaints over the use of the language used by a GSLP/Liberal activist handing leaflets to voters of Moroccan origins.According to reports received by Core Photography the GSD activists complained that the use of the native Moroccan language should not be allowed by those guiding voters outside the polling station, claiming the "official language in Gibraltar is English," according to witnesses present during the incident. This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. 25-noviember-2014-cola-de-salida-gibraltar-02_15696482999_o img_3420_34086342192_o img_3422_33859237370_o festival-internacional-de-jazz-gibraltar-25102014-34_15630976695_o 3-de-septiembre-de-2016-gibraltar-music-festival-90_28815934124_o img_0708_20975962423_o hospital-de-campaa_49726264493_o 2g9a0845_48805745823_o img_2682_44650713315_o strongmen-201312_10019332796_o 15-de-enero-2016-simulacro-de-rescate-con-helicpteros-merlin-mk3-en-gibraltar-20_23770224664_o img_9570_27252706847_o 2g9a0431_48801428967_o 7u3a5745_49425344708_o gibraltar-tradewise-chess-festival_001_12193311105_o img_4502_48826817602_o P1080668 Mezquita-2 img_1729_30765356978_o 2g9a4643_48714308962_o reunin-del-ministro-principal-con-susana-daz-en-sevilla_39182268234_o 25-abr-2019-visita-fabin-picardo-al-ies-virgen-de-la-esperanza-de-la-lnea-32_47697575171_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-78_28979545994_o img_9466_44160742804_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-37_25326939909_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-147_38547049871_o 2g9a4507_30280744254_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-164_38547041971_o 2g9a4604_30827331811_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36996842312_o 2g9a7322_29750651971_o 04-sep-2016-gibraltar-music-festival_29531204496_o img_4991_29446939986_o visita-oficial-del-gobernador-al-puerto-de-gibraltar_26062050052_o 09-feb-2016-simulacro-de-incidente-en-el-aeropuerto-de-gibraltar_24821641881_o 10-may-2014-relevo-del-bastn-de-la-reina-de-los-juegos-de-la-commonwealth_14165027562_o img_3262_27839989376_o img_5973_25979428056_o 8-de-marzo-2016-reunin-de-fabin-picardo-con-miembros-del-psoe-04_25498506532_o img_2528_24723548439_o img_8275_21306442091_o Gibraltar, 25 septiembre 2013.
