nueva-ruta-area-gibraltar-manchester_28004539131_o turismo-por-la-calle-real-de-gibraltar_22740394265_o Gibraltar - 26th November 2015 - (Both Joe Bossano for GSLP/Libs and Kim Karnani Santos attended Line Wall Road where tensions were high at one point this morning). Police were today requested to make their presence known at the polling station by Line Wall Road after GSD activists handing leaflets outside the polling station are alleged to have made complaints over the use of the language used by a GSLP/Liberal activist handing leaflets to voters of Moroccan origins.According to reports received by Core Photography the GSD activists complained that the use of the native Moroccan language should not be allowed by those guiding voters outside the polling station, claiming the "official language in Gibraltar is English," according to witnesses present during the incident. This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. img_0014_43016080155_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-level-42_9699891757_o fiesta-del-1-de-mayo-en-gibraltar-01052015-36_17338550216_o 3-de-septiembre-de-2016-gibraltar-music-festival-72_28815965744_o 7u3a9312_49597082293_o Christmas-2011-Nativity-Art 31-de-mayo-ii-jornada-y-clausura-xvii-juegos-del-estrecho26_14129417778_o gibraltar-feroe-febrero-2014-05_12864621075_o img_4112_20921044479_o img_9636_38737419785_o img_0143_41972962320_o lighthouse_25761731128_o heritage107_39633120181_o dav img_5235_48919070568_o img_5403_48919804612_o img_4578_48714310107_o 7U3A2354 img_9501_44160756034_o img_5430_42322426341_o img_9774_44160761014_o img_9061_38333172692_o_26590183949_o img_9063_38363838051_o_38310542036_o img_9070_24493766988_o_24494941438_o img_9077_24493758428_o_37651621644_o img_2062_36213050773_o img_0565_36311357912_o 2g9a5742_32763866335_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-101_30962790565_o 05-mayo-17-visita-claire-moody-30_34428541926_o 24-sep-2016-toma-de-posesin-de-carmelo-zammit-del-cargo-de-obispo-de-gibraltar_29959237345_o 2g9a9315_29448003616_o Escala-inaugural-del-crucero-Ovation-of-the-Seas-65 a-dsc_0235_18816051603_o 5-enero-2014-cabalgata-de-reyes-gibraltar-15_16221239302_o 2g9a9968_27596511960_o img_4438_25275626849_o img_8985_24480811405_o gobernador-de-gibraltar-edward-davis_23870202223_o gibraltar-national-day-2013-206_9716936201_o Gibraltar -28th September 2015 - The Governor of Gibraltar today departed From office bidding Farewell to politicians and the armed Forces in what ended up to be a low Key ceremony.
