A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - Fabian Picardo led his GSLP/LiberalAlliance Ministers to the Convent earlier this morning where there were sworn into Government by Acting Governor Alison Macmilan. He and his team then headed to Number Six where they held their first press call as the newly formed Government following a landslide victory. elecciones-generales-gibraltar-26-de-noviembre-de-2015_23325431485_o img_0316_45202119185_o gibraltar-world-music-festival-dia-1-the-sweet-canary-ensemble-32_9225457518_o 6-de-septiembre-2014-iii-gibraltar-music-festival07_14981552389_o 19-mayo-gibraltar-world-music-festival41_14441282016_o 6-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-iii46_21029647329_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions 01-mar-2016-entrega-de-premios-concurso-artistas-jvenes-de-gibraltar_25466798646_o lincoln-uefa-21072015-38_19913569091_o inauguracin-exposicin-vctor-quintanilla-en-gibraltar_25877288835_o 16-julio-2014-partido-prensa-cdiz-veteranos-de-gibraltar-02_14755672285_o The Anniversary of The Battle Of Trafalgar, An act of remembrance held within The Trafalgar Cemetery Gibraltar, Sunday 18th October 2015.VIP's included Interim Governor, Chief Minister, 2nd Sea Lord and CBF. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home. img_2940_24624557423_o 2g9a1648_27170660921_o img_5993_25704752580_o 2015_09_14__0190_21423747795_o 20-de-agosto-2015-celebraciones-aniversario-sir-joshua-hassan-mar-del-sur-18_20748573932_o GIB-20230506-045-Coronation Gun Salute
