A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. default elecciones-generales-gibraltar-26-de-noviembre-de-2015_23216851922_o elecciones-generales-gibraltar-26-de-noviembre-de-2015_22696990074_o img_4680_46113659271_o img_0387_45202126515_o 2g9a0300_48801426847_o 17-febrero-2016-exposicin-gibraltar-y-la-guerra-civil-espaola-32_24457971934_o 2g9a0693_48806237942_o portaaviones-hms-queen-elizabeth-llegando-a-gibraltar-imagen-tomada-desde-uno-de-los-buques-de-apoyo-via-royal-navy-28_28386232519_o sk-slovan-bratislava-europa-fc-gibraltar-09072015-36_18948045914_o 2g9a0441_26246345994_o 2g9a9516_50032088888_o 2g9a0488_48800937438_o img_5888_49086448426_o 5-febrero-2015-entrega-premios-festival-internacional-de-ajedrez-tradewise-de-gibraltar-10_16426565646_o shipping-10_24764516677_o 2g9a3984_49336915217_o 2g9a4220_48230716407_o 2g9a4206_48230719037_o img_4019_48699323498_o 23-jun-2019-blogueros-espaoles-de-viajes-visitan-el-pen_48131076236_o 2g9a0644_48919807122_o img_5266_48919596161_o img_5367_48919601896_o img_3078_40043452025_o img_2348_39948490785_o img_9143_37650297304_o_37651617874_o img_8847_37651003354_o 05-mayo-17-visita-claire-moody-11_33659896883_o inauguracin-del-monumento-a-la-mujer-en-gibraltar_31427334926_o 1_17-feb-2017-visita-a-gibraltar-del-alcalde-de-chiclana-jos-mara-romn-y-rueda-de-prensa-con-fabin-picardo_31991159980_o inauguracin-del-monumento-a-la-mujer-en-gibraltar_30656122113_o img_2323_36349036413_o 11-november-2016-98-ceremonia-del-da-del-armisticio-en-gibraltar-9_30800441002_o 24-sep-2016-toma-de-posesin-de-carmelo-zammit-del-cargo-de-obispo-de-gibraltar_29845560942_o 2g9a7355_29540549990_o 18-jun-2016-noche-de-la-calentita-en-gibraltar_27221948314_o 2-jun-2016-salvas-en-gibraltar-honor-al-aniversario-de-coronacin-de-la-reina_27319188132_o Gibraltar - 7th September 2015 - Gibraltar celebrated its first official Evacuation Commemoration Day with a concert hosted by the government of Gibraltar for some 800 evacuee survivors from the Second World War. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home. img_2256_27628290801_o 2g9a0171_26882523611_o img_8627_24114821719_o gibraltar-300-aos-de-utrecht-1372013-17_9292081732_o 2015_09_14__0105_20802847933_o gibraltar-national-day_015_9716529835_o nuevo-gobernador-de-gibraltar08_11312544233_o HMS Monmouth visiting HMNB Gibralatr escourted by HMS Scimitar and HMS Sabre, Gibraltar Squadron, Royal Navy
