Vistas de Gibraltar Primer vuelo Gibraltar-Marrakech Gibraltar - 26th November 2015 - (Both Joe Bossano for GSLP/Libs and Kim Karnani Santos attended Line Wall Road where tensions were high at one point this morning). Police were today requested to make their presence known at the polling station by Line Wall Road after GSD activists handing leaflets outside the polling station are alleged to have made complaints over the use of the language used by a GSLP/Liberal activist handing leaflets to voters of Moroccan origins.According to reports received by Core Photography the GSD activists complained that the use of the native Moroccan language should not be allowed by those guiding voters outside the polling station, claiming the "official language in Gibraltar is English," according to witnesses present during the incident. This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. pista-skate-gibraltar-02_9222272927_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - Fabian Picardo led his GSLP/LiberalAlliance Ministers to the Convent earlier this morning where there were sworn into Government by Acting Governor Alison Macmilan. He and his team then headed to Number Six where they held their first press call as the newly formed Government following a landslide victory. Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - As Gibraltar woke up for work, John Macintosh Hall closed the count to the general election placing the GSLP/Liberal Alliance as the party to form Government. With an overall mayority 68.03% against the GSD's 31.37, the GSLP/Liberals recorded an overwhelming victory which once again sees Fabian Picardo as the Chief Minister of Gibraltar. The results were: -PICARDO, Fabian Raymond 10852 GARCIA, Joseph John 10661 CORTES, John Emmanuel 10529 LICUDI, Gilbert Horace 10379 ISOLA , Albert Joseph 10313 COSTA, Neil Francis 10048 SACRAMENTO, Samantha Jane 9822 LINARES, Steven Ernest 9690BALBAN, Paul John 9511 BOSSANO, Joseph John 9145FEETHAM, Daniel Anthony 5054 HASSAN NAHON, Marlene Dinah Esther 4892 PHILLIPS, Elliott John 4784 REYES, Edwin Joseph 4766 CLINTON, Roy Mark 4733 HAMMOND, Trevor Nicholas 4578LLAMAS, Lawrence Francis 4565 VASQUEZ, Robert Michael 4535 WHITE, Christopher George 4324 KARNANI-SANTOS, Kim Sylvia 4314 Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - As Gibraltar woke up for work, John Macintosh Hall closed the count to the general election placing the GSLP/Liberal Alliance as the party to form Government. With an overall mayority 68.03% against the GSD's 31.37, the GSLP/Liberals recorded an overwhelming victory which once again sees Fabian Picardo as the Chief Minister of Gibraltar. The results were: -PICARDO, Fabian Raymond 10852 GARCIA, Joseph John 10661 CORTES, John Emmanuel 10529 LICUDI, Gilbert Horace 10379 ISOLA , Albert Joseph 10313 COSTA, Neil Francis 10048 SACRAMENTO, Samantha Jane 9822 LINARES, Steven Ernest 9690BALBAN, Paul John 9511 BOSSANO, Joseph John 9145FEETHAM, Daniel Anthony 5054 HASSAN NAHON, Marlene Dinah Esther 4892 PHILLIPS, Elliott John 4784 REYES, Edwin Joseph 4766 CLINTON, Roy Mark 4733 HAMMOND, Trevor Nicholas 4578LLAMAS, Lawrence Francis 4565 VASQUEZ, Robert Michael 4535 WHITE, Christopher George 4324 KARNANI-SANTOS, Kim Sylvia 4314 elecciones-generales-gibraltar-26-de-noviembre-de-2015_23029440940_o presentacin-libro-yanitos-tllez20_12101856285_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-publico-y-ambiente_9699853385_o img_9918_21468139005_o 17-febrero-2016-exposicin-gibraltar-y-la-guerra-civil-espaola-22_25062325116_o festival-literario-gibraltar18_10496853286_o img_2699_30623752887_o gibraltar-tradewise-chess-festival_013_12193573503_o portaaviones-hms-queen-elizabeth-llegando-al-puerto-de-gibraltar-al-fondo-algeciras-via-moses-anahory_26293510828_o img_4107_20921048099_o henry-cavill-en-la-carrera-del-350-aniversario-de-los-royal-marines-en-gibraltar-25-octubre-201432_15437599848_o img_4254_20920842339_o 11-oct-2017-eurafrica-trail-35_37623772192_o 7u3a9697_49901121042_o 7u3a0134_50032693781_o 7u3a5847_49425350483_o visita-del-alcalde-de-la-lnea-al-ministro-principal-de-gibraltar_48954055213_o img_3358_40937363131_o 7u3a5800_49425348083_o img_0150_42144359362_o 2g9a4497_48714307792_o img_4268_36994288182_o 2g9a4695_48714143821_o 5-enero-2017-cabalgata-de-reyes-magos-gibraltar-17_32010696521_o img_9786_44830686982_o 6-enero-2016-cabalgata-reyes-magos-gibraltar-ii-12_31299673974_o img_8155_42792485160_o img_0729_35671155493_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-117_29494983642_o 2g9a9520_28856841304_o img_5183_29479243165_o visita-oficial-del-gobernador-al-puerto-de-gibraltar_26088168001_o 09-feb-2016-simulacro-de-incidente-en-el-aeropuerto-de-gibraltar_24619511350_o 2g9a0332-2_26856506532_o Chief Rabbi of Commonwealth at Jews Gate Cemetery opening lanzamiento-de-la-campaa-gibraltar-stronger-in-europe_25784830083_o gobernador-de-gibraltar-edward-davis_23868810714_o 9-septiembre-15-national-day-2015-20_21274430186_o ceremonia-75-anos-evacuacion-gibraltar-22052015-05_17968746396_o 2g9a8762_51680448727_o gibraltar-evacuation-dsc_3664_17816648400_o THE EARL OF WESSEX VISITS HER MAJESTY’S NAVAL BASE
