A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. img_4001_15641851393_o ii-festival-internacional-de-jazz-gibraltar28_10382635413_o img_0439_45202139925_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-hollie-buhagiar_9699741407_o gibraltar-world-music-festival-dia-1-en-chordais-05_9225432824_o presentacin-libro-yanitos-tllez10_12101888315_o gibraltar-world-music-festival-dia-1-the-sweet-canary-ensemble-29_9222681817_o fiesta-del-1-de-mayo-en-gibraltar-01052015-09_17364148411_o 2013-Christmas 2018-Gibraltar-Year-of-the-Dog The Anniversary of The Battle Of Trafalgar, An act of remembrance held within The Trafalgar Cemetery Gibraltar, Sunday 18th October 2015.VIP's included Interim Governor, Chief Minister, 2nd Sea Lord and CBF. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home.
