A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. colas-frontera-diciembre06_12348802223_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - As Gibraltar woke up for work, John Macintosh Hall closed the count to the general election placing the GSLP/Liberal Alliance as the party to form Government. With an overall mayority 68.03% against the GSD's 31.37, the GSLP/Liberals recorded an overwhelming victory which once again sees Fabian Picardo as the Chief Minister of Gibraltar. The results were: -PICARDO, Fabian Raymond 10852 GARCIA, Joseph John 10661 CORTES, John Emmanuel 10529 LICUDI, Gilbert Horace 10379 ISOLA , Albert Joseph 10313 COSTA, Neil Francis 10048 SACRAMENTO, Samantha Jane 9822 LINARES, Steven Ernest 9690BALBAN, Paul John 9511 BOSSANO, Joseph John 9145FEETHAM, Daniel Anthony 5054 HASSAN NAHON, Marlene Dinah Esther 4892 PHILLIPS, Elliott John 4784 REYES, Edwin Joseph 4766 CLINTON, Roy Mark 4733 HAMMOND, Trevor Nicholas 4578LLAMAS, Lawrence Francis 4565 VASQUEZ, Robert Michael 4535 WHITE, Christopher George 4324 KARNANI-SANTOS, Kim Sylvia 4314 cola-peatonal-salida-de-gibraltar-23072015-04_19775844498_o img_3391_34112868251_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - As Gibraltar woke up for work, John Macintosh Hall closed the count to the general election placing the GSLP/Liberal Alliance as the party to form Government. With an overall mayority 68.03% against the GSD's 31.37, the GSLP/Liberals recorded an overwhelming victory which once again sees Fabian Picardo as the Chief Minister of Gibraltar. The results were: -PICARDO, Fabian Raymond 10852 GARCIA, Joseph John 10661 CORTES, John Emmanuel 10529 LICUDI, Gilbert Horace 10379 ISOLA , Albert Joseph 10313 COSTA, Neil Francis 10048 SACRAMENTO, Samantha Jane 9822 LINARES, Steven Ernest 9690BALBAN, Paul John 9511 BOSSANO, Joseph John 9145FEETHAM, Daniel Anthony 5054 HASSAN NAHON, Marlene Dinah Esther 4892 PHILLIPS, Elliott John 4784 REYES, Edwin Joseph 4766 CLINTON, Roy Mark 4733 HAMMOND, Trevor Nicholas 4578LLAMAS, Lawrence Francis 4565 VASQUEZ, Robert Michael 4535 WHITE, Christopher George 4324 KARNANI-SANTOS, Kim Sylvia 4314 elecciones-generales-gibraltar-26-de-noviembre-de-2015_22957381509_o 01-mar-2016-entrega-de-premios-concurso-artistas-jvenes-de-gibraltar_24866202773_o img_0481_44297158170_o img_0631_21409063798_o img_9933_43921159031_o sk-slovan-bratislava-europa-fc-gibraltar-09072015-22_19574919741_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions gibraltar-estonia-marzo-2014-7_12956084373_o Gibraltar - Preparations for Operation Sea Snake start at Eastern beach with tanks strongmen-201324_10019208004_o 2g9a1119_48951599218_o gib-view-5_38736598375_o the-main-guard-1_38736855265_o img_4914_48919597971_o 2g9a0705_48919598711_o img_5350_48919810302_o 2g9a4553_48714308492_o img_0148_30891441977_o rita-ora-at-mtv-presents-gibraltar-calling-2018-day-2-by-ollie-millington-117_43072425560_o untitled_panorama1_43884161044_o img_8053_44603356201_o 7U3A2452 img_9496_29664841447_o gibraltar-recuerda-a-las-vctimas-de-los-ataques-de-pars_30946069256_o 1_17-feb-2017-visita-a-gibraltar-del-alcalde-de-chiclana-jos-mara-romn-y-rueda-de-prensa-con-fabin-picardo_32217922492_o 2g9a5169_30961436535_o img_2114_36349103273_o img_5206_29190541150_o 12-de-noviembre-de-2016-visita-del-ministro-licudi-al-mein-schiff-12_30874586331_o 2-jun-2016-salvas-en-gibraltar-honor-al-aniversario-de-coronacin-de-la-reina_27417180285_o 02-mar-2016-inauguracin-omisara-de-polica-de-casemates_25125251609_o 2g9a9528_27262521303_o Gibraltar - 7th September 2015 - Gibraltar celebrated its first official Evacuation Commemoration Day with a concert hosted by the government of Gibraltar for some 800 evacuee survivors from the Second World War. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home. img_2098_27602496552_o visita-del-ministro-principal-a-cdiz_26431297392_o img_9017_24373340852_o img_2936_21161514104_o 9-septiembre-15-national-day-2015-48_20677973284_o ceremonia-75-anos-evacuacion-gibraltar-22052015-11_17372617674_o Kingston-41 Orgullo-Gibraltar-2022-42-Christian-Santos-Alcalde-de-Gibraltar entrevista-fabian-picardo_9519248282_o
