Primer vuelo Gibraltar-Marrakech nueva-ruta-area-gibraltar-manchester_28082244205_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. 2g9a9323_48907566898_o ii-festival-internacional-de-jazz-gibraltar36_10382462976_o 6-de-septiembre-2014-iii-gibraltar-music-festival06_14981555349_o 2g9a9864_48907305153_o 19-mayo-gibraltar-world-music-festival28_14277810418_o 3-de-septiembre-de-2016-gibraltar-music-festival-89_29360020571_o 2g9a0207_48801426647_o proyecto-de-construccin-de-las-dos-nuevas-escuelas-de-bayside-y-westside-en-waterport-gibraltar_27712734618_o img_9509_41222418705_o 1_img_0068_41972485330_o Alameda-3 P1080705 img_2792_38737263605_o st-michaels-cave-23_27855904839_o 2g9a4295_48230650731_o 2g9a0612_48919596601_o img_0283-1_45106517524_o img_4077_45831074851_o img_1159_36861637871_o 7U3A2464 dscf7861_44550416602_o img_1436_29696619867_o img_8155_42792485160_o img_2330_25970941727_o 20171214_155709_38346299864_o 6-enero-2016-cabalgata-reyes-magos-gibraltar-ii-19_32022612661_o img_0505_36342252551_o 2g9a5972_30746307420_o_31001132081_o 8-noviembre-2016-premios-certamen-internacional-de-arte-de-gibraltar-34_30578367120_o 3-de-diciembre-2015-bienvenida-al-atlethic-de-bilbao-19_23414779981_o flashmob-sunborn-gibraltar-1411201450_15789738276_o Gibraltar - 7th September 2015 - Gibraltar celebrated its first official Evacuation Commemoration Day with a concert hosted by the government of Gibraltar for some 800 evacuee survivors from the Second World War. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home. desfile-de-la-libertad-de-la-ciudad-gibraltar12_9858737554_o 2g9a9642_27773228732_o img_2213_27668725906_o img_9171_26494061711_o visita-del-ministro-principal-a-cdiz_26523590345_o img_2866_24956276590_o GIBRALTAR NATIONAL DAY 10-septiembre-2014-national-day33_15014951778_o 1_2G9A0456 9-mayo-2014-visita-a-gibraltar-del-secretario-de-estado-britnico-daniel-alexander-con-ocasin-del-da-de-europa_14168309294_o 044_19691127763_o img_4471_19917806863_o Llegada-de-los-Condes-de-Wessex Revista-a-tropas-del-Coronel-Simon-Dyson-junto-al-Conde-Wessex Scouts-Condesa-de-Wessex
