180607 - Gibraltar realiza trabajos en enclaves y en el litoral restauracin-cementerio-witham-8_24850848543_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. 181016 - Gibraltar inaugura las nuevas oficinas del Puerto paisajes-urbanos-gibraltar-20_9222317571_o 2g9a9912_48907837136_o img_8862_19953453840_o img_9066_20142633405_o 3-de-septiembre-de-2016-gibraltar-music-festival-54_29331775372_o img_4703_44297315080_o 2g9a0703_48805744723_o open-tradewise-de-ajedrez-de-gibraltar_16360719866_o 2g9a0432_48800936648_o strongman-en-casemates_9997709236_o 2g9a0905_48806239117_o img_9410_42123279381_o 5-febrero-2015-entrega-premios-festival-internacional-de-ajedrez-tradewise-de-gibraltar-4_16451620052_o 7u3a9633_49900298003_o entrenamiento-conjunto-balona-san-joseph-en-la-linea-02122013-marcos-moreno-27_11213227504_o gorhams-cave-3_39633657121_o 2g9a9673_50032156063_o 2g9a6822_48204116782_o img_5367_48919601896_o img_0199-1_45831048671_o img_1688_36166373184_o img_8078_42790068550_o img_8112_44603355471_o 2g9a6089_31113390655_o_31078854826_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-80_38490782636_o 2g9a5326_22783101658_o img_2126_36349098953_o img_9514_26286176570_o Gibraltar - 7th September 2015 - Gibraltar celebrated its first official Evacuation Commemoration Day with a concert hosted by the government of Gibraltar for some 800 evacuee survivors from the Second World War. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home. 5-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-82_21000526399_o Chief Rabbi of Commonwealth at Jews Gate Cemetery opening Chief Rabbi of Commonwealth at Jews Gate Cemetery opening a-dsc_5797_19248960240_o img_2767_24621603834_o img_2777_25133940012_o gobernador-de-gibraltar-edward-davis_24129265529_o GIBRALTAR NATIONAL DAY despedida-del-gobernador-de-gibraltar-13112013-marcos-moreno31_10967348753_o img_8366_21133776168_o img_8438_20700553433_o img_8480_1_2_tonemapped_21310968282_o img_8598_21329807171_o 7U3A4798 gibraltar-evacuation-dsc_4132_18004225735_o Orgullo-Gibraltar-2022-6 fabin-picardo-ministro-principal-gibraltar-04_9225021092_o
