This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. paisajes-urbanos-gibraltar-01_9225043380_o 2g9a9381_48908090906_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. untitled_panorama1_19462134994_o 9-de-diciembre-de-2015-ceremonia-inaugural-del-nuevo-parlamento-de-gibraltar_23266258209_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - As Gibraltar woke up for work, John Macintosh Hall closed the count to the general election placing the GSLP/Liberal Alliance as the party to form Government. With an overall mayority 68.03% against the GSD's 31.37, the GSLP/Liberals recorded an overwhelming victory which once again sees Fabian Picardo as the Chief Minister of Gibraltar. The results were: -PICARDO, Fabian Raymond 10852 GARCIA, Joseph John 10661 CORTES, John Emmanuel 10529 LICUDI, Gilbert Horace 10379 ISOLA , Albert Joseph 10313 COSTA, Neil Francis 10048 SACRAMENTO, Samantha Jane 9822 LINARES, Steven Ernest 9690BALBAN, Paul John 9511 BOSSANO, Joseph John 9145FEETHAM, Daniel Anthony 5054 HASSAN NAHON, Marlene Dinah Esther 4892 PHILLIPS, Elliott John 4784 REYES, Edwin Joseph 4766 CLINTON, Roy Mark 4733 HAMMOND, Trevor Nicholas 4578LLAMAS, Lawrence Francis 4565 VASQUEZ, Robert Michael 4535 WHITE, Christopher George 4324 KARNANI-SANTOS, Kim Sylvia 4314 img_3737_34086396972_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-lawson_9703148424_o 3-de-septiembre-de-2016-gibraltar-music-festival-52_29439815955_o 17-febrero-2016-exposicin-gibraltar-y-la-guerra-civil-espaola-14_25062335876_o img_5185_34059140000_o 7u3a9323_49597579991_o 7u3a6512_49454012153_o 7u3a9444_49597828257_o sebastian-coe-en-gibraltar_39165288544_o Gibraltar - Operation Sea Snake sees tanks and Royal Marines land on Eastern Beach sebastian-coe-en-gibraltar_38976577625_o img_0111_29910409648_o 7u3a5085_49336224738_o Southport-gates-2 img_4066_48699321853_o 2g9a0590_48919805177_o 2g9a4625_48714309212_o img_4568_48714144391_o img_3934_45831067251_o img_4013_30891442987_o CM & Franco Visit Frontier Exhibition 060619 { seq} ( Photo John Bugeja) at the JMHall 08-may-2017-27visita-inaugural-del-crucero-celebrity-or-reflection-a-gibraltar_33895390134_o img_3542_37604619816_o 6-enero-2016-cabalgata-reyes-magos-gibraltar-ii-24_31331049223_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354094083_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_37026133351_o 17-feb-2017-visita-a-gibraltar-del-alcalde-de-chiclana-jos-mara-romn-y-rueda-de-prensa-con-fabin-picardo_32247954581_o 2g9a5123_30961353515_o 2g9a4666_30280753384_o 04-sep-2016-gibraltar-music-festival_28941941243_o 18-jun-2016-noche-de-la-calentita-en-gibraltar_27758097151_o 3-de-diciembre-2015-bienvenida-al-atlethic-de-bilbao-18_23414781861_o 10-may-2014-relevo-del-bastn-de-la-reina-de-los-juegos-de-la-commonwealth12_14167818984_o Gibraltar - 9th May 2015 - Mo Anton took the first prize at the V Gibraltar Song Festival held at the Tercentennary Sports Hall in Gibraltar.Fourteen singers competed in the final from across the world following over 700 entries.
