A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. skywalk-gibraltar-2-photo-taken-for-bovis-koala-jv-by-meteogibs-photographer-stephen-ball_41367549160_o ii-festival-internacional-de-jazz-gibraltar12_10382497846_o 17-febrero-2016-exposicin-gibraltar-y-la-guerra-civil-espaola-4_25088689225_o img_6810_35154403690_o 17-febrero-2016-exposicin-gibraltar-y-la-guerra-civil-espaola-31_24457973174_o 2016-Gibraltar-Historic-Gates henry-cavill-en-la-carrera-del-350-aniversario-de-los-royal-marines-en-gibraltar-25-octubre-201405_15002940734_o concierto-andrea-bocelli_48720545138_o bayside-panorama2_48800933388_o tradewise-chess-festival-entrevistas-y-ambiente07_12249582566_o 7u3a0047_50032694271_o 2g9a3968_49336914742_o img_8581_38737100725_o img_5414_48919603136_o 2g9a8361_46581736712_o img_0199-1_45831048671_o img_9494_44160766644_o img_3008_43693496915_o img_3231_40895450802_o 08-may-2017-7visita-inaugural-del-crucero-celebrity-or-reflection-a-gibraltar_34737775245_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-83_38515439612_o 18-jun-2016-noche-de-la-calentita-en-gibraltar_27834022655_o 23-feb-2018-encuentro-entre-fabin-picardo-e-izquierda-unida-14_38627528330_o visita-oficial-del-gobernador-al-puerto-de-gibraltar_26154508745_o el-viceministro-principal-joseph-garca_38334710902_o a-dsc_5692_19410489196_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36331786384_o flashmob-sunborn-gibraltar-1411201452_15628234217_o img_2160_36973622246_o investidura-adolfo-canepa-como-nuevo-alcalde01_13581170015_o 21-jun-2016-inauguracin-puente-colgante-en-la-reserva-natural-del-pen-de-gibraltar_27556205220_o 2g9a9769_27840006966_o img_2922_21161882904_o 2015_09_14__0243_21432041471_o img_3958_20437493264_o ceremonia-75-anos-evacuacion-gibraltar-22052015-31_17992043152_o nuevo-gobernador-de-gibraltar20_11312459756_o Kingston-14 Kingston-46 32.3-2021 Orgullo-Gibraltar-2022-26 El-Real-Regimiento-de-Gibraltar-actua-de-nuevo-como-Regimiento-de-Guardia-de-la-Reina-en-Londres-6
