This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. 19-junio-gibraltar-world-music-festival18_14463206612_o 10-expo_frontera Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. img_9345_42112036860_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions celebracin-entrada-gibraltar-en-la-uefa-05_9224807456_o 27-ene-17-alumnos-de-la-escuela-obispo-fitzgerald-de-gibraltar-conmemoran-el-holocausto_32513356786_o img_4238_20919762618_o Familias-esperando-para-verse-de-un-lado-al-otro-de-la-frontera.-Fotografia-expuesta-en-Closure. img_4301_20484970774_o img_0207_41972490700_o 2g9a9839_50032156693_o 7u3a5077_49336691636_o img_7499_25762256838_o Teleferico-Parte-Alta-del-Penon-12 img_4600_48713814633_o img_8164_30729846708_o img_5311_41421436285_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354080973_o 1_17-feb-2017-visita-a-gibraltar-del-alcalde-de-chiclana-jos-mara-romn-y-rueda-de-prensa-con-fabin-picardo_32217921602_o 2g9a5983_31077293726_o_31001131581_o 04-sep-2016-gibraltar-music-festival_28941929293_o 118210_29462644736_o Escala-inaugural-del-crucero-Ovation-of-the-Seas-66 02-mar-2016-inauguracin-omisara-de-polica-de-casemates_25197189790_o a-dsc_5763_19250364569_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off ii-jornada-y-clausura-xvii-juegos-del-estrecho08_14129490070_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off img_2187_27090572484_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off 2g9a0254_26951061285_o Chief Rabbi of Commonwealth at Jews Gate Cemetery opening lanzamiento-de-la-campaa-gibraltar-stronger-in-europe_26295203912_o flashmob-sunborn-gibraltar-1411201419_15627606509_o img_2700_24621538754_o a-exalcaldesa-de-la-lnea-de-la-concepcin-gemma-araujo-psoe-saluda-al-ministro-principal-de-gibraltar-fabian-picardo_21397315186_o img_7618_21110706730_o img_7646_21110870298_o nuevo-gobernador-de-gibraltar12_11312421515_o BP200031 img_4388_20351222058_o img_4412_20530154712_o 2g9a8768_51681501793_o
