restauracin-cementerio-witham-4_25451431286_o restauracin-cementerio-witham-13_25359117402_o Gibraltar - 26th November 2015 - (Both Joe Bossano for GSLP/Libs and Kim Karnani Santos attended Line Wall Road where tensions were high at one point this morning). Police were today requested to make their presence known at the polling station by Line Wall Road after GSD activists handing leaflets outside the polling station are alleged to have made complaints over the use of the language used by a GSLP/Liberal activist handing leaflets to voters of Moroccan origins.According to reports received by Core Photography the GSD activists complained that the use of the native Moroccan language should not be allowed by those guiding voters outside the polling station, claiming the "official language in Gibraltar is English," according to witnesses present during the incident. This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-569_22718343566_o barco-entrando-en-gibraltar-_9225011758_o turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-683_22555938880_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-213_22557449590_o turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-249_22731756532_o 9-de-diciembre-de-2015-ceremonia-inaugural-del-nuevo-parlamento-de-gibraltar_23608053056_o colas-frontera-diciembre04_12348633105_o 19-junio-gibraltar-world-music-festival14_14277902827_o 6-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-iii12_21224473341_o 3-de-septiembre-de-2016-gibraltar-music-festival-52_29439815955_o 3-de-septiembre-de-2016-gibraltar-music-festival-54_29331775372_o img_6793_34732167833_o img_2744_44650724035_o regiment-freedom-of-city-0145-bw_15253195529_o 1926-Sello-Gibraltar-5-Libras-Jorge-V img_0647_21596926225_o sebastian-coe-en-gibraltar_39165223744_o lincoln-uefa-21072015-06_19882274506_o lincoln-uefa-21072015-15_19882331896_o strongmen-201317_10019306006_o Monos-51 Alameda-17 panorama-18_24765528797_o img_4680_48714310332_o img_0152_45781930142_o img_1192_36830777852_o 20171214_115824_39025260572_o img_2400-2_42825389200_o 6-enero-2016-cabalgata-reyes-magos-gibraltar-ii-61_31331037703_o img_1166_36814004296_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-64_29314653210_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354065513_o 24-sep-2016-toma-de-posesin-de-carmelo-zammit-del-cargo-de-obispo-de-gibraltar_29959245585_o img_2190_36326576034_o 2-jun-2016-salvas-en-gibraltar-honor-al-aniversario-de-coronacin-de-la-reina_27383398746_o img_9631_26558936225_o 02-mar-2016-inauguracin-omisara-de-polica-de-casemates_25466666166_o 05-ene-2016-cabalgata-de-los-reyes-magos-en-gibraltar_24098782072_o 5-enero-2014-cabalgata-de-reyes-gibraltar-18_16035937279_o simulacro-accidente-aereo-en-gibraltar-03122014-22_15758178127_o visita-del-ministro-principal-a-cdiz_26431297392_o img_2806_25251955615_o img_7792_21298603615_o 7U3A4845 img_5896_19915977704_o Clubhouse-Condesa-de-Wessex-en-Clubhouse-servicio-de-apoyo-a-personas-con-problemas-de-salud-mental-2
