A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. los-escalones-del-mediterrneo-suben-desde-la-ciudad-a-lo-ms-alto-del-pen-de-gibraltar_22739694735_o 9-de-diciembre-de-2015-ceremonia-inaugural-del-nuevo-parlamento-de-gibraltar_23525537922_o colas-coches-gibraltar-febrero-2014-7_12614288325_o cola-entrada-a-gibraltar-28072015-21_19901704560_o img_3350_34112849451_o img_4853_41820471262_o img_0447_32242171468_o gibraltar-world-music-festival-dia-1-en-chordais-04_9225433570_o 7u3a9380_49597081643_o img_6618_35502333506_o 2g9a2982_49094439436_o partido-prensa-cdiz-veteranos-de-gibraltar-05_14569245597_o strongman-en-casemates_9997709236_o Mezquita-12 st-michael-cave-214_38925229934_o 2g9a2167_48706247176_o 2g9a0644_48919807122_o img_5293_48919071333_o 2g9a4702_48714309657_o dscf7903_30729837628_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-152_24674709848_o img_0762_38822715060_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-50-aniversario-referndum-10967-26_36750954840_o_37027014961_o 2g9a5903_30306645173_o_31114929675_o img_2360_36349031843_o 2g9a5849_30746111350_o_31001135911_o img_3727_37163096095_o 2g9a5257_30659824120_o 2-jun-2016-salvas-en-gibraltar-honor-al-aniversario-de-coronacin-de-la-reina_27417187705_o 4-abr-2016-inauguracin-nueva-sede-banco-internacional-de-gibraltar-17_25961766330_o 85-aniversario-museo-gibraltar-23072015-06_19340933664_o tom-lackey-acrobata-aereo-de-94-anos-en-gibraltar-10102014-14_15516249685_o desfile-de-la-libertad-de-la-ciudad-gibraltar11_9858739034_o 2g9a2004_27205708346_o 2g9a0163_26951098325_o lanzamiento-de-la-campaa-gibraltar-stronger-in-europe_26387572985_o gibraltar-300-aos-de-utrecht-1372013-26_9289276801_o ceremonia-75-anos-evacuacion-gibraltar-22052015-21_17808981609_o gobernador-de-gibraltar-edward-davis_24470801436_o Portaaviones HMS Queen Elizabeth en Gibraltar Gibraltar -28th September 2015 - The Governor of Gibraltar today departed From office bidding Farewell to politicians and the armed Forces in what ended up to be a low Key ceremony.
