This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-36_22750501201_o colas-frontera-de-gibraltar-11-noviembre-20141_15762221111_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. img_3353_33432738523_o img_3719_34112970991_o img_3745_34086394672_o img_0462_46063479882_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-olly-murs_9703108078_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-publico-y-ambiente_9699823795_o inauguracin-exposicin-vctor-quintanilla-en-gibraltar_25877290795_o img_5338_34284284592_o img_0645_21605899071_o strongmen-201312_10019332796_o 2g9a9780_50032693261_o 7u3a5197_49336692391_o 7u3a5299_49336914047_o img_8581_38737100725_o Monos-31 Monos-62 img_3338_39127766260_o 2g9a4691_48713814358_o img_2398_40800646832_o img_9491_44160734184_o img_4633_37373697441_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-179_26771240769_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-99_22784236218_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36978708616_o 2g9a4551_30827342901_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36978715416_o 87824_28871965894_o 17-feb-2017-visita-a-gibraltar-del-alcalde-de-chiclana-jos-mara-romn-y-rueda-de-prensa-con-fabin-picardo_32368143555_o 100222_28874461723_o img_2129_37163072715_o Escala-inaugural-del-crucero-Ovation-of-the-Seas-77 5-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-06_21000510809_o img_9050_26287199510_o img_5988_25704766040_o 2015_09_14__0227_20802574663_o visita-del-ministro-principal-a-cdiz_26250766870_o Gibraltar -28th September 2015 - The Governor of Gibraltar today departed From office bidding Farewell to politicians and the armed Forces in what ended up to be a low Key ceremony.
