Primer vuelo Gibraltar-Marrakech 2g9a9323_48907566898_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. elecciones-generales-gibraltar-26-de-noviembre-de-2015_23216924022_o img_3710_33402052134_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013_9699747177_o hospital-de-campaa_49726814116_o inauguracin-exposicin-vctor-quintanilla-en-gibraltar_25877290795_o cervantes-04 img_0115_42877250235_o 2g9a9693_50032952867_o 2g9a9815_50032156708_o Monos-en-la-ciudad-34 2g9a1983_49048521898_o jumpers-bastion-1_38736808885_o Mezquita-19 2g9a5380_48726175746_o 2g9a5338_48726176236_o img_5445_48919595806_o img_3339_26064402977_o 20171214_163809_24195066997_o 08-may-2017-5visita-inaugural-del-crucero-celebrity-or-reflection-a-gibraltar_33895413304_o 05-mayo-17-visita-claire-moody-20_34309882092_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354075493_o 2g9a9325_30063583971_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36978708676_o 2g9a5234_30961543205_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_37026150371_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-101_30962790565_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_37026150951_o 24-sep-2016-toma-de-posesin-de-carmelo-zammit-del-cargo-de-obispo-de-gibraltar_29845563792_o 21-jun-2016-inauguracin-puente-colgante-en-la-reserva-natural-del-pen-de-gibraltar_27732842602_o img_9596_25956055963_o 2-jun-2016-salvas-en-gibraltar-honor-al-aniversario-de-coronacin-de-la-reina_26810216253_o 5-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-80_21000529299_o Gibraltar - 7th September 2015 - Gibraltar celebrated its first official Evacuation Commemoration Day with a concert hosted by the government of Gibraltar for some 800 evacuee survivors from the Second World War. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home. desfile-de-la-libertad-de-la-ciudad-gibraltar10_9858835343_o img_8797_24186268260_o 2015_09_14__0256_20800876304_o img_8124_21111488639_o 20-de-agosto-2015-celebraciones-aniversario-sir-joshua-hassan-mar-del-sur-24_20569971310_o 75-years-gibraltar-honouring-generation-44_17374295059_o gibraltar-evacuation-dsc_3620_17383689223_o Remembrance Sunday Service at the Cross of Sacrifice, Gibraltar. gibraltar-evacuation-dsc_3754_17816384608_o 7U3A9430 image1_50824246618_o Orgullo-Gibraltar-2022-58 El-Real-Regimiento-de-Gibraltar-actua-de-nuevo-como-Regimiento-de-Guardia-de-la-Reina-en-Londres-25 Conde-de-Wessex-saluda-al-Contralmirante-Dainton-Comandante-de-las-Fuerzas-Britanicas-en-Gibraltar
