This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. 2g9a9910_48908041457_o 2g9a9962_48907838391_o 25-noviember-2014-cola-de-salida-gibraltar-02_15696482999_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-emili-sande_9703015414_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-lawson_9703139958_o charo-lpez-la-lnea-de-la-concepcin-espaa-segundo-premio_14033456174_o zenobia-venezuela-premio-especial_14033450914_o festival-internacional-de-jazz-gibraltar-25102014-33_15444324099_o 7u3a9321_49597580026_o hospital-de-campaa_49726813541_o 7u3a6490_49454717347_o festival-literario-gibraltar25_10496800925_o 2017-Queen-Elizabeth-II-70th-Wedding-Anniversary-set tradewise-chess-festival-entrevistas-y-ambiente23_12249487484_o 2g9a0962_48805747038_o img_4237_20486583723_o WP_20140508_032 heritage124_24764838537_o Teleferico-Parte-Alta-del-Penon-19 panorama-3_24765451327_o 2g9a4539_48714142791_o img_3965-1_45831050561_o img_2352_25970937847_o img_8149_30729847318_o img_9510_35361473394_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-173_24674702058_o img_9574_36030365562_o reunin-del-ministro-principal-con-susana-daz-en-sevilla_39182268234_o 2g9a9248_29519581084_o img_9588_35393036443_o 2g9a4573_30827337241_o img_3731_36349112103_o img_7886_23578624414_o img_3866_37163016705_o 000-a-dsc_6110_19250563949_o visita-oficial-del-gobernador-al-puerto-de-gibraltar_25549746124_o 2015_09_14__0093_21236105208_o gobernador-de-gibraltar-edward-davis_24470816456_o 2015_09_14__0193_21423739255_o 9-mayo-2014-visita-del-secretario-de-estado-del-tesoro-britnico-daniel-alexander-con-ocasin-del-da-de-europa_14168306644_o nuevo-gobernador-de-gibraltar01_11312428915_o 1_7U3A4535 Remembrance Sunday Service at the Cross of Sacrifice, Gibraltar.
