A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. monos-zona-alta-del-pen-con-turistas-13_9222296481_o 20-agosto-2014-colas-de-salida-de-gibraltar15_14800938039_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - As Gibraltar woke up for work, John Macintosh Hall closed the count to the general election placing the GSLP/Liberal Alliance as the party to form Government. With an overall mayority 68.03% against the GSD's 31.37, the GSLP/Liberals recorded an overwhelming victory which once again sees Fabian Picardo as the Chief Minister of Gibraltar. The results were: -PICARDO, Fabian Raymond 10852 GARCIA, Joseph John 10661 CORTES, John Emmanuel 10529 LICUDI, Gilbert Horace 10379 ISOLA , Albert Joseph 10313 COSTA, Neil Francis 10048 SACRAMENTO, Samantha Jane 9822 LINARES, Steven Ernest 9690BALBAN, Paul John 9511 BOSSANO, Joseph John 9145FEETHAM, Daniel Anthony 5054 HASSAN NAHON, Marlene Dinah Esther 4892 PHILLIPS, Elliott John 4784 REYES, Edwin Joseph 4766 CLINTON, Roy Mark 4733 HAMMOND, Trevor Nicholas 4578LLAMAS, Lawrence Francis 4565 VASQUEZ, Robert Michael 4535 WHITE, Christopher George 4324 KARNANI-SANTOS, Kim Sylvia 4314 gibraltar-music-festival-2013-hollie-buhagiar_9702980438_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-publico-y-ambiente_9703086528_o 6-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-iii28_21029684769_o img_2635_45564819441_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions 2g9a0475_26246320224_o 2g9a4922_48875163052_o 2g9a0351_48801427392_o 1_img_0062_41972487710_o gorhams-cave-1_39633652901_o Monos-en-la-ciudad-32 Alameda-14 Punta-Europa-10 2g9a1808_48699797101_o 2g9a4301_48230720497_o 2g9a6724_48204067811_o img_5367_48919601896_o img_4146_45831076581_o 7U3A2461 img_8982_38333002682_o_26590190339_o img_0497_35671092643_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36978712796_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-81_29495002152_o inauguracin-del-monumento-a-la-mujer-en-gibraltar_31427343906_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-96_29524283771_o 2g9a4531_30798994232_o 8-noviembre-2016-premios-certamen-internacional-de-arte-de-gibraltar-39_30843307086_o 10-feb-2016-celebracin-en-gibraltar-del-ao-nuevo-chino-5_24573487469_o 2-jun-2016-salvas-en-gibraltar-honor-al-aniversario-de-coronacin-de-la-reina_27141400260_o 05-ene-2016-cabalgata-de-los-reyes-magos-en-gibraltar_23578621414_o Gibraltar - 7th September 2015 - Gibraltar celebrated its first official Evacuation Commemoration Day with a concert hosted by the government of Gibraltar for some 800 evacuee survivors from the Second World War. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home. 5-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-42_21000558799_o festival-internacional-de-la-cancin-de-gibraltar_17504004981_o festival-internacional-de-la-cancin-de-gibraltar_16883915653_o 2g9a0122_26345535274_o 2g9a0177_26951080795_o 2g9a0336_26882454751_o img_5990_25376580433_o img_3827_20303360783_o 9-septiembre-15-national-day-2015-38_21300669955_o img_7728_21272413406_o 29.1-2021 7u3a6902_51343714785_o El-Real-Regimiento-de-Gibraltar-actua-de-nuevo-como-Regimiento-de-Guardia-de-la-Reina-en-Londres-13
