181016 - Gibraltar inaugura las nuevas oficinas del Puerto nueva-ruta-area-gibraltar-manchester_27468189664_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. 4985-2020_50167091982_o paisajes-la-bahia-gibraltar-01_9222264035_o 20150911_141347320_ios_22717478046_o inmaculada-fotos-23112014-09_16092708482_o img_3431_34202604366_o 19-junio-gibraltar-world-music-festival08_14464515845_o img_9885_43921154781_o img_7548_35347381260_o 2012-Definitive-2012-Birds-of-the-Rock-Addition visita-platini-gibraltar-rock-cup-2014-23_13967053317_o tradewise-chess-festival-entrevistas-y-ambiente26_12249610596_o american-war-memorial-7760_39633617661_o img_4836_39603805182_o 2g9a4243_48230642831_o 2g9a5356_48725847188_o 23-jun-2019-blogueros-espaoles-de-viajes-visitan-el-pen_48131069986_o img_5122_48919595951_o img_5354_48919072738_o img_1240_36830747522_o img_1434_44585024602_o 20171214_094350_24195321837_o img_5336_41421443345_o img_2409_40800642252_o 14-diciembre-2016-gbc-open-day-maratn-benfico-2_31527601411_o 2g9a9234_29852392850_o 1_17-feb-2017-visita-a-gibraltar-del-alcalde-de-chiclana-jos-mara-romn-y-rueda-de-prensa-con-fabin-picardo_32217923412_o 2g9a5318_30926031856_o img_2240_36326657984_o 8-noviembre-2016-premios-certamen-internacional-de-arte-de-gibraltar-39_30843307086_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-47_29495035972_o Escala-inaugural-del-crucero-Ovation-of-the-Seas-61 Escala-inaugural-del-crucero-Ovation-of-the-Seas-93 img_9551_25954052774_o 09-feb-2016-simulacro-de-incidente-en-el-aeropuerto-de-gibraltar_24888688136_o Gibraltar - 7th September 2015 - Gibraltar celebrated its first official Evacuation Commemoration Day with a concert hosted by the government of Gibraltar for some 800 evacuee survivors from the Second World War. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home. a-dsc_5620_18814096724_o simulacro-accidente-aereo-en-gibraltar-03122014-20_15943923715_o 2015_09_14__0155_21397610976_o DE-I-A3 7U3A4789 033_20318167751_o 32.2-2021 7u3a6942_51343439209_o De-i.-a-d.-El-Gobernador-David-Steel-el-alcalde-Christian-Santos-el-Ministro-Principal-Fabian-Picardo-y-el-Vic.-Principal-Joseph-Garcia 2g9a8721_51681502178_o THE EARL OF WESSEX VISITS HER MAJESTY’S NAVAL BASE 20220910_21-GUN-SALUTE_274
