This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - Fabian Picardo led his GSLP/LiberalAlliance Ministers to the Convent earlier this morning where there were sworn into Government by Acting Governor Alison Macmilan. He and his team then headed to Number Six where they held their first press call as the newly formed Government following a landslide victory. elecciones-generales-gibraltar-26-de-noviembre-de-2015_22697060984_o img_3414_33432754253_o 6-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-iii45_21190206526_o 6-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-iii68_21028293510_o 3-de-septiembre-de-2016-gibraltar-music-festival-2_28816113164_o img_1813_44650696635_o repatriacin-de-nacionales-britnicos-desde-marruecos-covid-19_49870139223_o img_0706_21409246118_o 2g9a3958_49336225728_o 2g9a1978_49049023746_o 7u3a5294_49336228023_o Monos-en-la-ciudad-22 Mezquita-32 wellington-front-0445_24765199557_o img_4060_48699321463_o img_4571_48714144371_o img_1388_36849704982_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-106_38547066391_o img_2050_36880365021_o 6-enero-2016-cabalgata-reyes-magos-gibraltar-ii-2_32141120285_o 2g9a5169_30961436535_o 12-de-noviembre-de-2016-visita-del-ministro-licudi-al-mein-schiff-54_30927330226_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-50-aniversario-referndum-10967-4_36312449584_o_36997613432_o 04-sep-2016-gibraltar-music-festival_29565262935_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_37026133351_o img_4988_29446959436_o img_3789_36326678964_o Escala-inaugural-del-crucero-Ovation-of-the-Seas-87 img_5183_29479243165_o a-dsc_5601_19249019160_o festival-internacional-de-la-cancin-de-gibraltar_17316432278_o a-dsc_5669_19250394499_o flashmob-sunborn-gibraltar-1411201404_15813424025_o tom-lackey-acrobata-aereo-de-94-anos-en-gibraltar-10102014-12_15329665857_o celebracin-entrada-gibraltar-en-la-uefa-05_9224807456_o 9-septiembre-15-national-day-2015-65_21112755258_o img_8116_21306514581_o img_8567_21134726509_o gibraltar-evacuation-dsc_4225_17977755596_o ceremonia-75-anos-evacuacion-gibraltar-22052015-09_17374685483_o 1_7U3A4518 7U3A4786 hms-sabre-9-royal-navy_48859907312_o
