Vistas de Gibraltar Primer vuelo Gibraltar-Marrakech Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. restauracin-cementerio-witham-23_25110015769_o restauracin-cementerio-witham-3_25477574815_o gibraltar-recibe-anualmente-ms-de-7-millones-de-turistas_22552336950_o 2g9a9334_48908300092_o 20150911_132846966_ios_22121955893_o 19-junio-gibraltar-world-music-festival16_14277969528_o 19-mayo-gibraltar-world-music-festival30_14461042521_o img_0497_22917046005_o inauguracin-exposicin-vctor-quintanilla-en-gibraltar_25576707690_o img_9923_20847047893_o 7u3a9430_49597081163_o img_9984_20845322014_o img_2586_44650704195_o gibraltar-estonia-marzo-2014-7_12956084373_o P1080741 1_Teleferico-Parte-Alta-del-Penon-5 img_4608_48713811103_o 20171214_155523_24195067617_o img_0744_39737059525_o img_9106_38333460332_o_26590181149_o img_8800_38364841071_o 08-may-2017-18visita-inaugural-del-crucero-celebrity-or-reflection-a-gibraltar_33895399654_o img_1166_36814004296_o img_2687_24956720390_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36978715306_o 2g9a7441_29720384582_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_37168276355_o 04-sep-2016-gibraltar-music-festival_29565264255_o img_2079_37163099455_o 94340_29416775091_o Escala-inaugural-del-crucero-Ovation-of-the-Seas-72 4-abr-2016-inauguracin-nueva-sede-banco-internacional-de-gibraltar-10_26234663915_o concierto-evacuados-de-gibraltar-07092015-4bn_21228486302_o Gibraltar - 7th September 2015 - Gibraltar celebrated its first official Evacuation Commemoration Day with a concert hosted by the government of Gibraltar for some 800 evacuee survivors from the Second World War. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home. a-dsc_5986_19436459205_o img_2104_27602496062_o img_2731_25252290305_o img_2770_25133955662_o 2g9a2047_27172745281_o img_8848_23854993713_o 2015_09_14__0274_21397276826_o fabian-picardo-en-los-cursos-de-verano-de-san-roque-16072015-05_19751281211_o 7U3A4846 img_8965_50855774386_o 7u3a1277_51681502573_o HMS Prince of Wales en Gibraltar Orgullo-Gibraltar-2022-36-Ministro-Principal
