Vistas de Gibraltar Primer vuelo Gibraltar-Marrakech Gibraltar - 26th November 2015 - (Both Joe Bossano for GSLP/Libs and Kim Karnani Santos attended Line Wall Road where tensions were high at one point this morning). Police were today requested to make their presence known at the polling station by Line Wall Road after GSD activists handing leaflets outside the polling station are alleged to have made complaints over the use of the language used by a GSLP/Liberal activist handing leaflets to voters of Moroccan origins.According to reports received by Core Photography the GSD activists complained that the use of the native Moroccan language should not be allowed by those guiding voters outside the polling station, claiming the "official language in Gibraltar is English," according to witnesses present during the incident. This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. restauracin-cementerio-witham-7_25110008999_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. elecciones-generales-gibraltar-26-de-noviembre-de-2015_23216999332_o img_0293_45202121665_o img_0484_44297149810_o fiesta-del-1-de-mayo-en-gibraltar-01052015-17_17364121891_o img_0555_22729138690_o sk-slovan-bratislava-europa-fc-gibraltar-09072015-10_19563739892_o 27-ene-17-fabin-picardo-visita-el-open-de-gibraltar-de-ajedrez-7_32175360210_o 2g9a2612_49086662407_o img_0247_43781196821_o img_5705_49086660242_o visita-del-alcalde-de-la-lnea-al-ministro-principal-de-gibraltar_48954793092_o 7u3a5857_49426045967_o 2g9a2017_49049241587_o Mezquita-1 Punta-Europa-21 WP_20140508_001 2g9a5331_48726175831_o img_5131_48919069658_o img_5374_48919072148_o img_3946_30891445337_o img_2335_26972678068_o 2g9a9349_32308849256_o img_0460_36433412066_o img_3808_37163046125_o 2g9a9773_29401373241_o 04-sep-2016-gibraltar-music-festival_29565260475_o The Gibraltar Music Festival 24-jun-2016-comparecencia-de-fabin-picardo-en-el-parlamento-de-gibraltar-tras-referndum-permanencia-ru-en-ue-5_27844266536_o 5-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-06_21000510809_o 24-jun-2016-comparecencia-de-fabin-picardo-en-el-parlamento-de-gibraltar-tras-referndum-permanencia-ru-en-ue-12_27802391921_o 000-crowning-first-reaction-dsc_6105_19249104710_o a-dsc_5760_18815923873_o 5-enero-2014-cabalgata-de-reyes-gibraltar-19_15599638794_o tom-lackey-acrobata-aereo-de-94-anos-en-gibraltar-10102014-27_15329345269_o 29-mayo-inauguracin-xvii-juegos-del-estrecho17_14311132384_o 10-may-2014-relevo-del-bastn-de-la-reina-de-los-juegos-de-la-commonwealth06_14164439451_o img_5982_25910379641_o 9-septiembre-15-national-day-2015-97_21112497710_o img_8702_24112856189_o 2g9a8812_51681917224_o Gibraltar -28th September 2015 - The Governor of Gibraltar today departed From office bidding Farewell to politicians and the armed Forces in what ended up to be a low Key ceremony.
