This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. line-wall-road-gibraltar_22552826090_o colas-de-salida-26-01-15_16191932770_o ii-festival-internacional-de-jazz-gibraltar17_10382652953_o elecciones-generales-gibraltar-26-de-noviembre-de-2015_23216916032_o 19-mayo-gibraltar-world-music-festival27_14277759359_o gibraltar-world-music-festival-dia-1-the-sweet-canary-ensemble-39_9222688899_o 6-de-septiembre-2014-iii-gibraltar-music-festival57_15145292306_o 6-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-iii31_21190233916_o img_5161_34402434706_o 7u3a6464_49454013508_o 2018-End-of-WWI-Centenary 2015-Winston-Churchill-50th-Anniversary Year Pack 2017.indd regiment-freedom-of-city-0174_15435565781_o img_9945_21476673281_o 2g9a0729_48806099816_o open-tradewise-de-ajedrez-de-gibraltar_16360719866_o 27-ene-17-fabin-picardo-visita-el-open-de-gibraltar-de-ajedrez-1_32513496856_o 2g9a2558_49086448071_o Monos-en-la-ciudad-25 7U3A2452 img_4574_48714144356_o img_0182_42190668381_o img_8088_43690953715_o img_0678_36082755180_o 1_17-feb-2017-visita-a-gibraltar-del-alcalde-de-chiclana-jos-mara-romn-y-rueda-de-prensa-con-fabin-picardo_31991160210_o 2g9a9323_29519579804_o img_2079_37163099455_o 2g9a6127_31077404666_o_31114931915_o 11-november-2016-98-ceremonia-del-da-del-armisticio-en-gibraltar-3_30880606196_o 11-de-noviembre-2016-concurso-cyber-centurion-en-gibraltar-14_30800465372_o 27-abr-16-homenaje-a-los-trabajadores-de-gibraltar_26652323076_o 09-feb-2016-simulacro-de-incidente-en-el-aeropuerto-de-gibraltar_24619511750_o investidura-adolfo-canepa-como-nuevo-alcalde09_13581251503_o Gibraltar - 7th September 2015 - Gibraltar celebrated its first official Evacuation Commemoration Day with a concert hosted by the government of Gibraltar for some 800 evacuee survivors from the Second World War. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home. 2g9a9681_27596416970_o gobernador-de-gibraltar-edward-davis_23868807664_o Gibraltar -28th September 2015 - The Governor of Gibraltar today departed From office bidding Farewell to politicians and the armed Forces in what ended up to be a low Key ceremony.
