This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. elecciones-generales-gibraltar-26-de-noviembre-de-2015_23325193375_o img_3408_33432755753_o img_0369_44297010400_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-la-oreja-de-van-gogh_9703160052_o img_0447_32242171468_o festival-internacional-de-jazz-gibraltar-25102014-32_15628305841_o 19-junio-gibraltar-world-music-festival39_14277944388_o img_5335_34313414461_o portaaviones-hms-queen-elizabeth-llegando-a-gibraltar-imagen-tomada-desde-uno-de-los-buques-de-apoyo-via-royal-navy-24_39267701115_o 2g9a0625_26578779740_o cervantes-01 25A6251 gibraltar-eslovaquia10_10967672543_o img_0118_43733173002_o img_0132_28844746007_o 2g9a9506_50032627056_o img_9728_21276155159_o fb25b0d5db8a7419686f3332b40edc83 Trafalgar-10 Mezquita-20 rooke-1_25761941028_o 2g9a5370_48726351532_o 2g9a5941_48204605856_o img_5211_48919070858_o img_7988_42792487310_o img_5310_40516045650_o img_9904_40383759540_o img_7278_34645022791_o img_7172_34614619822_o 6-enero-2016-cabalgata-reyes-magos-gibraltar-ii-31_32141119365_o img_9949_36342185631_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-84_30962796975_o Escala-inaugural-del-crucero-Ovation-of-the-Seas-79 27-abr-16-homenaje-a-los-trabajadores-de-gibraltar_26679100635_o img_9631_26558936225_o visita-oficial-del-gobernador-al-puerto-de-gibraltar_26088169901_o a-dsc_5903_19248940588_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off investidura-adolfo-canepa-como-nuevo-alcalde01_13581170015_o lanzamiento-de-la-campaa-gibraltar-stronger-in-europe_26387593305_o 29.7-2021 entrada-a-la-sala-de-la-conferencia-en-el-san-roque-club_21236337368_o 20-de-agosto-2015-celebraciones-aniversario-sir-joshua-hassan-mar-del-sur-31_20569964360_o fuegos-artificiales-como-colofn-del-da-nacional-de-gibraltar-2015_22731418922_o gibraltar-evacuation-dsc_3821_18005025501_o
