A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. img_9414_42112023280_o 6-de-septiembre-2014-iii-gibraltar-music-festival15_15168088912_o img_9894_43872618322_o panormica-de-gibraltar_17060214204_o inauguracin-exposicin-vctor-quintanilla-en-gibraltar_25782333821_o 2015-RAF-Squadrons-IV-2 jebel-sahara-4-la-embajadora-del-reino-unido-en-marruecos-con-el-cte-del-real-regimiento-de-gibraltar_22494853804_o calpeia1_48875164162_o img_9956_20845372134_o university-10_39603334062_o img_9443_42123274131_o img_9504_41403114024_o img_9683_21452159422_o changing-of-the-guard-the-convent-0420_24765649497_o gib-view-2_24765539247_o img_0146_45831059751_o img_4072_45831074981_o dscf7806_43693487785_o img_9489_44603353981_o img_1520_43725783175_o 20171214_155709_38346299864_o img_0189_28318281808_o CM & Franco Visit Frontier Exhibition 060619 { seq} ( Photo John Bugeja) at the JMHall 14-diciembre-2016-gbc-open-day-maratn-benfico-12_31527590751_o img_5342_41600457694_o 2g9a9159_29519593734_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36331782314_o 2g9a6109_30999545231_o_30747657730_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-16_30846311752_o 2g9a7377_29833275915_o 2g9a9323_29482379355_o 95056_29416774251_o 10-may-2016-visita-inaugural-crucero-jewel-of-the-seas-10_26935102685_o Escala-inaugural-del-crucero-Ovation-of-the-Seas-86 The Gibraltar Music Festival img_3308_27839984676_o GIBRALTAR NATIONAL DAY img_1349_24977825325_o 10-septiembre-2014-national-day44_15201114572_o Gibraltar -28th September 2015 - The Governor of Gibraltar today departed From office bidding Farewell to politicians and the armed Forces in what ended up to be a low Key ceremony.
