A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. img_8949_19954763830_o img_4745_45202432445_o 2g9a8334_48875082271_o 2g9a0891_48805746678_o festival-literario-gibraltar20_10497041003_o la-tv-alemana-zdf-graba-un-reportaje-en-gibraltar-michael-petch-zdf_25938054742_o sk-slovan-bratislava-europa-fc-gibraltar-09072015-4_19382633890_o university-21_39633679241_o Monos-en-la-ciudad-20 2g9a5901_48204604836_o 2g9a8437_32759667488_o 2g9a6749_48204162197_o img_0220_45106514454_o img_4582_48714144291_o untitled_panorama1_43884161044_o img_9462_43969674475_o img_2399_26972650168_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354076263_o 05-mayo-17-visita-claire-moody-14_33659896683_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36770640690_o 89098_28871964064_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off 85-aniversario-museo-gibraltar-23072015-18_19775576910_o festival-internacional-de-la-cancin-de-gibraltar_17316620700_o 5-enero-2014-cabalgata-de-reyes-gibraltar-20_15602188913_o 2g9a9515_27596416800_o img_2140_27703091775_o visita-del-ministro-principal-a-cdiz_26250766870_o img_8802_24373530132_o visita-del-ministro-principal-a-cdiz_26431288422_o img_8999_23852628574_o Gibraltar -28th September 2015 - The Governor of Gibraltar today departed From office bidding Farewell to politicians and the armed Forces in what ended up to be a low Key ceremony.
