A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. vista-area-de-las-colas-de-acceso-a-gibraltar_9460862160_o 21-agosto-2014-colas-de-entrada-y-salida-de-gibraltar06_14803145478_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - As Gibraltar woke up for work, John Macintosh Hall closed the count to the general election placing the GSLP/Liberal Alliance as the party to form Government. With an overall mayority 68.03% against the GSD's 31.37, the GSLP/Liberals recorded an overwhelming victory which once again sees Fabian Picardo as the Chief Minister of Gibraltar. The results were: -PICARDO, Fabian Raymond 10852 GARCIA, Joseph John 10661 CORTES, John Emmanuel 10529 LICUDI, Gilbert Horace 10379 ISOLA , Albert Joseph 10313 COSTA, Neil Francis 10048 SACRAMENTO, Samantha Jane 9822 LINARES, Steven Ernest 9690BALBAN, Paul John 9511 BOSSANO, Joseph John 9145FEETHAM, Daniel Anthony 5054 HASSAN NAHON, Marlene Dinah Esther 4892 PHILLIPS, Elliott John 4784 REYES, Edwin Joseph 4766 CLINTON, Roy Mark 4733 HAMMOND, Trevor Nicholas 4578LLAMAS, Lawrence Francis 4565 VASQUEZ, Robert Michael 4535 WHITE, Christopher George 4324 KARNANI-SANTOS, Kim Sylvia 4314 img_3398_34112866761_o img_3717_34112973041_o img_9942_43202781834_o ii-festival-internacional-de-jazz-gibraltar25_10382639363_o 19-junio-gibraltar-world-music-festival05_14441412846_o img_9899_21441939866_o 27-ene-17-alumnos-de-la-escuela-obispo-fitzgerald-de-gibraltar-conmemoran-el-holocausto_31742373573_o img_9927_21280284778_o Gibraltar - HMS Bulwark arrives for Amphibious Landing Exercise tradewise-chess-festival-entrevistas-y-ambiente15_12249066465_o gibraltar-eslovaquia18_10967598334_o img_4237_20486583723_o 7u3a9590_49901121177_o img_0143_41972962320_o 2g9a2009_49048515383_o Monos-en-la-ciudad-32 Teleferico-Parte-Alta-del-Penon-1 img_3215_26064419757_o 2g9a5922_48204606271_o img_9122_26588973269_o_26590180889_o img_1790_36605216500_o 6-enero-2016-cabalgata-reyes-magos-gibraltar-ii-36_31299666194_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-163_38490774156_o img_9465_36197424905_o 23-feb-2018-encuentro-entre-fabin-picardo-e-izquierda-unida-6_38627529030_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-45_28979567144_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354088183_o 2g9a7245_29750590361_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_37026133531_o 18-jun-2016-noche-de-la-calentita-en-gibraltar_27799755746_o Escala-inaugural-del-crucero-Ovation-of-the-Seas-81 The Gibraltar Music Festival Gibraltar - 7th September 2015 - Gibraltar celebrated its first official Evacuation Commemoration Day with a concert hosted by the government of Gibraltar for some 800 evacuee survivors from the Second World War. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home. 2g9a0147_26882584271_o img_2693_24621549314_o gobernador-de-gibraltar-edward-davis_24201455810_o 9-septiembre-15-national-day-2015-32_20677994374_o img_4065_21067448981_o 10-septiembre-2014-national-day51_15201479045_o 20-de-agosto-2015-celebraciones-aniversario-sir-joshua-hassan-mar-del-sur-41_20748602082_o 7U3A4804 fabian-picardo-en-los-cursos-de-verano-de-san-roque-16072015-16_19558600850_o 32.1-2021
