A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. Gibraltar - 26th November 2015 - The voting boxes arrived at the polling stations early this morning as Gibraltar prepared to start voting for its new government. Escorted by the Royal Gibraltar Police civil servants manning the polling stations, along with witnesses will now seal the boxes before the doors opened at 9am.RGP officers were at the polling stations since early morning searching and securing all stations before the ballot boxes arrivedTwo main parties are running for election, the GSLP/Liberals led by Fabian Picardo and the GSD led by Daniel Feetham. gibraltar-world-music-festival-dia-2-yasmin-levy-mediterranean-andalusian-orchestra-ashkelon-22_9222719547_o steve-cline-reino-unido_14033017725_o 19-mayo-gibraltar-world-music-festival40_14277773730_o foot-16_17680442682_o 6-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-iii29_21029682609_o img_5308_34284316762_o MM180007 img_4085_20841561924_o portaaviones-hms-queen-elizabeth-llegando-a-gibraltar-imagen-tomada-desde-uno-de-los-buques-de-apoyo-via-royal-navy-23_39267701665_o img_9633_20840571544_o Gibraltar - Preparations for Operation Sea Snake start at Eastern beach with tanks 7u3a9570_49901122087_o 2g9a0922_48805746128_o 2g9a1082_48951597808_o img_9541_28250753598_o 7u3a5186_49336911977_o 7u3a5266_49336226818_o Mezquita-33 commonwealth-park-17_24765491067_o P1080713 plaza-de-la-verdura-1_27855773429_o 2g9a4288_48230652136_o 2g9a4598_48714142351_o img_4079_31960328568_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-87_24674695948_o img_0684_39910036701_o 6-enero-2016-cabalgata-reyes-magos-gibraltar-ii-17_31992470462_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354045713_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-102_22784234748_o 2g9a7203_29207188013_o simulacro-accidente-aereo-en-gibraltar-03122014-18_15324295383_o 2g9a9677_27839953186_o Gibraltar - 7th September 2015 - Gibraltar celebrated its first official Evacuation Commemoration Day with a concert hosted by the government of Gibraltar for some 800 evacuee survivors from the Second World War. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home. img_2576_24810777700_o img_8825_23852384764_o img_8697_24481923015_o gibraltar-300-aos-de-utrecht-1372013-19_9292066206_o img_7870_21272260186_o 10-septiembre-2014-national-day58_15178446766_o Kingston-26 028_20125546689_o 29.1-2021 7u3a1188_51681916339_o 7u3a1217_51681915889_o Revista-a-las-tropas-Justine-Picardo-Gobernador-Condes-de-Wessex-Teniente-Coronel-Nel-Doherty-y-Contralmirante-Dainton Autoridades-en-el-balcon-del-Convento-
