A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. skywalk-gibraltar-5-photo-taken-for-bovis-koala-jv-by-meteogibs-photographer-stephen-ball_41367548500_o img_9921_43872624332_o img_0424_46063491302_o regiment-freedom-of-city-0193-bw_15253361098_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions MM180007 img_0688_21409074140_o The Anniversary of The Battle Of Trafalgar, An act of remembrance held within The Trafalgar Cemetery Gibraltar, Sunday 18th October 2015.VIP's included Interim Governor, Chief Minister, 2nd Sea Lord and CBF.
