This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - As Gibraltar woke up for work, John Macintosh Hall closed the count to the general election placing the GSLP/Liberal Alliance as the party to form Government. With an overall mayority 68.03% against the GSD's 31.37, the GSLP/Liberals recorded an overwhelming victory which once again sees Fabian Picardo as the Chief Minister of Gibraltar. The results were: -PICARDO, Fabian Raymond 10852 GARCIA, Joseph John 10661 CORTES, John Emmanuel 10529 LICUDI, Gilbert Horace 10379 ISOLA , Albert Joseph 10313 COSTA, Neil Francis 10048 SACRAMENTO, Samantha Jane 9822 LINARES, Steven Ernest 9690BALBAN, Paul John 9511 BOSSANO, Joseph John 9145FEETHAM, Daniel Anthony 5054 HASSAN NAHON, Marlene Dinah Esther 4892 PHILLIPS, Elliott John 4784 REYES, Edwin Joseph 4766 CLINTON, Roy Mark 4733 HAMMOND, Trevor Nicholas 4578LLAMAS, Lawrence Francis 4565 VASQUEZ, Robert Michael 4535 WHITE, Christopher George 4324 KARNANI-SANTOS, Kim Sylvia 4314 Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. img_4801_26995114627_o img_4821_41863367941_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-emili-sande_9703004352_o ii-festival-internacional-de-jazz-gibraltar30_10382428384_o gibraltar-world-music-festival-dia-1-en-chordais-13_9225443438_o gibraltar-world-music-festival-dia-1-the-sweet-canary-ensemble-20_9225448120_o presentacin-libro-yanitos-tllez27_12102225364_o 27-ene-17-alumnos-de-la-escuela-obispo-fitzgerald-de-gibraltar-conmemoran-el-holocausto_31742372953_o img_0462_22729115890_o lincoln-uefa-21072015-33_19908517105_o img_9668_21471741291_o 7u3a9594_49901121962_o 7u3a5775_49426045167_o cruise-liners-1_39633630751_o Punta-Europa-19 panorama-18_24765528797_o 2g9a5346_48725846883_o 2g9a6802_48204114016_o img_4989_48919806107_o img_5210_48919808497_o img_4007-1_44014411210_o img_2948_30732455928_o img_9487_42792483980_o img_2409_40800642252_o img_0682_26036922448_o img_8836_38334152082_o 05-mayo-17-visita-claire-moody-22_34309886052_o 2g9a9523_28856834064_o Escala-inaugural-del-crucero-Ovation-of-the-Seas-9 img_9594_26558979865_o 10-feb-2016-celebracin-en-gibraltar-del-ao-nuevo-chino-36_24573490199_o concierto-evacuados-de-gibraltar-07092015-45bn_20617814693_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off 5-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-74_21195197961_o 5-enero-2014-cabalgata-de-reyes-gibraltar-13_16035939469_o tom-lackey-acrobata-aereo-de-94-anos-en-gibraltar-10102014-26_15513087691_o 2g9a0213_26677607330_o img_9126_26467718552_o 8-de-marzo-2016-reunin-de-fabin-picardo-con-miembros-del-psoe-01_24990425393_o img_8377_21134746979_o Revista-a-tropas-del-Coronel-Simon-Dyson-junto-al-Conde-Wessex THE EARL OF WESSEX VISITS HER MAJESTY’S NAVAL BASE
