This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-569_22718343566_o 9-de-diciembre-de-2015-ceremonia-inaugural-del-nuevo-parlamento-de-gibraltar_23338413420_o colas-de-salida-26-01-15_16191961810_o img_0031_43202808544_o 6-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-iii48_21190199416_o 10-mayo-2016-inauguracin-nueva-ala-del-museo-de-gibraltar_26902337206_o img_9988_20846928073_o 27-ene-17-fabin-picardo-visita-el-open-de-gibraltar-de-ajedrez-21_31710621334_o 2g9a0368_48801282306_o lincoln-uefa-21072015-10_19882269126_o strongmen-201353_10019020354_o img_4085_20841561924_o 2g9a2583_49086447351_o WP_20140508_029 P1080676 P1080690 2g9a4511_48714141591_o 2g9a4643_48714308962_o img_0140-1_31960316628_o img_5378_48919604071_o img_4167_44014422520_o img_9607_31008263358_o img_1515_44635096401_o img_8836_38334152082_o 24-04-2017-desfile-de-la-libertad-de-la-ciudad-de-los-royal-engineers-5_34113617351_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36978715416_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-84_29524291931_o 2g9a5876_30999468151_o_31114930445_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-67_25326919029_o 8-noviembre-2016-premios-certamen-internacional-de-arte-de-gibraltar-23_30879571475_o 8-noviembre-2016-premios-certamen-internacional-de-arte-de-gibraltar-34_30578367120_o 2-jun-2016-salvas-en-gibraltar-honor-al-aniversario-de-coronacin-de-la-reina_27417188065_o 5-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-55_20566237693_o 10-may-2016-visita-inaugural-crucero-jewel-of-the-seas-5_26935103695_o 2g9a9523_27596416140_o The Gibraltar Music Festival Gibraltar - 9th May 2015 - Mo Anton took the first prize at the V Gibraltar Song Festival held at the Tercentennary Sports Hall in Gibraltar.Fourteen singers competed in the final from across the world following over 700 entries.
