desayuno-financiero-de-gibraltar-en-londres_30577290937_o turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-672_22755088011_o Gibraltar - 26th November 2015 - (Commissioner of police at Town Range Polling Station as he oversees security) Police were today requested to make their presence known at the polling station by Line Wall Road after GSD activists handing leaflets outside the polling station are alleged to have made complaints over the use of the language used by a GSLP/Liberal activist handing leaflets to voters of Moroccan origins.According to reports received by Core Photography the GSD activists complained that the use of the native Moroccan language should not be allowed by those guiding voters outside the polling station, claiming the "official language in Gibraltar is English," according to witnesses present during the incident. This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. la-ciudad-de-gibraltar-al-fondo-el-moderno-desarrollo-de-ocean-village-y-un-crucero-anclado-en-el-puerto_22739324065_o 6-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-iii51_21224378711_o ii-festival-internacional-de-jazz-gibraltar01_10382461576_o img_6782_34732168863_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions 7u3a9494_49597578211_o 2015-Definitive-2015-Additional-Values 7u3a6462_49454013618_o 2g9a2976_49094439821_o img_2589_44650703115_o 27-ene-17-fabin-picardo-visita-el-open-de-gibraltar-de-ajedrez-22_31742541243_o henry-cavill-en-la-carrera-del-350-aniversario-de-los-royal-marines-en-gibraltar-25-octubre-201403_15623702085_o open-tradewise-de-ajedrez-de-gibraltar_16360719866_o Juan-Carlos-Teuma-y-George-Valarino-de-la-GBC-llegaron-muy-cerca-de-la-verja-desafiando-a-la-policia-espanola.-Fotografia-expuesta-en-‘Closure. 11-oct-2017-eurafrica-trail-38_37656644311_o tradewise-chess-festival-entrevistas-y-ambiente32_12249470484_o img_0244_43781197681_o img_6362ddfg_39602853922_o Alameda-28 23-jun-2019-blogueros-espaoles-de-viajes-visitan-el-pen_48131153902_o img_5054_48919806732_o img_3913_45106520674_o img_3920-1_45106515924_o img_1694_43916343214_o fair-panorama1_29696590817_o img_4624_23521817248_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354047593_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-16_29605155335_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354049523_o 7-feb-2017-encuentro-entre-fabin-picardo-y-el-alcalde-de-la-lnea-juan-franco_31920712944_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354090753_o 2g9a9349_29447974956_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off tom-lackey-acrobata-aereo-de-94-anos-en-gibraltar-10102014-14_15516249685_o The Gibraltar Music Festival 2g9a2025_27205709016_o img_9056_26287195250_o visita-del-ministro-principal-a-cdiz_25920733813_o img_2522_24464363243_o gobernador-de-gibraltar-edward-davis_24414609451_o gobernador-de-gibraltar-edward-davis_24414611231_o 2015_09_14__0162_21397595266_o Gibraltar -28th September 2015 - The Governor of Gibraltar today departed From office bidding Farewell to politicians and the armed Forces in what ended up to be a low Key ceremony.
