A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. img_0445_45202136315_o gibraltar-world-music-festival-dia-1-01_9222657595_o 19-junio-gibraltar-world-music-festival04_14463166122_o 6-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-iii44_20595328093_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions hospital-de-campaa_49726813671_o inauguracin-exposicin-vctor-quintanilla-en-gibraltar_25877290795_o img_0746_20974173734_o img_0561_22498812538_o img_4619_31174602057_o img_0758_21409102358_o 2012-Old-Views-of-Gibraltar-II 2g9a0490_48801283466_o open-tradewise-de-ajedrez-de-gibraltar_16386698925_o gibraltar-tradewise-chess-festival_007_12193590813_o gorhams-cave-3_39633657121_o Mezquita-8 WP_20140508_016 img_4006_48699321803_o img_5282_40516032900_o 11-de-noviembre-2016-concurso-cyber-centurion-en-gibraltar-9_30282305364_o img_2023_36212886323_o 24-sep-2016-toma-de-posesin-de-carmelo-zammit-del-cargo-de-obispo-de-gibraltar_29876090451_o actividades-paralelas-al-open-de-ajedrez-de-gibraltar_32539802792_o 2g9a9349_29447974956_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354044173_o 2g9a9466_29192805970_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354077703_o visita-oficial-del-gobernador-al-puerto-de-gibraltar_26154508745_o img_3847_36991613022_o GIBRALTAR NATIONAL DAY 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-109_28981258643_o despedida-del-gobernador-de-gibraltar-13112013-marcos-moreno35_10967180796_o Gibraltar - 7th September 2015 - Gibraltar celebrated its first official Evacuation Commemoration Day with a concert hosted by the government of Gibraltar for some 800 evacuee survivors from the Second World War. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home. Gibraltar - 9th May 2015 - Mo Anton took the first prize at the V Gibraltar Song Festival held at the Tercentennary Sports Hall in Gibraltar.Fourteen singers competed in the final from across the world following over 700 entries. Among the singers were Greeks, French, Israeli, Spanish, Irish and Gibraltarian singers, despedida-del-gobernador-de-gibraltar-13112013-marcos-moreno23_10967350803_o rueda-de-prensa-de-fabin-picardo-y-joseph-garca-en-bruselas_27187092956_o 75-years-gibraltar-honouring-generation-37_17560588931_o 1_2G9A0459 1_7U3A4558 image3_50825082166_o img_4368_20545897241_o USS-Alaska-Gib-3 Orgullo-Gibraltar-2022-11 Clubhouse-Condesa-de-Wessex-en-Clubhouse-servicio-de-apoyo-a-personas-con-problemas-de-salud-mental
