Police were today requested to make their presence known at the polling station by Line Wall Road after GSD activists handing leaflets outside the polling station are alleged to have made complaints over the use of the language used by a GSLP/Liberal activist handing leaflets to voters of Moroccan origins.According to reports received by Core Photography the GSD activists complained that the use of the native Moroccan language should not be allowed by those guiding voters outside the polling station, claiming the "official language in Gibraltar is English," according to witnesses present during the incident. This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. 2g9a9854_48908037822_o img_0278_20263909091_o monos-en-la-ciudad-18_9225083412_o img_0376_44297009470_o gibraltar-world-music-festival-dia-1-the-sweet-canary-ensemble-19_9225449340_o devils-tongue-2_27855539039_o 27-ene-17-alumnos-de-la-escuela-obispo-fitzgerald-de-gibraltar-conmemoran-el-holocausto_31742374973_o img_7504_38925219504_o henry-cavill-en-la-carrera-del-350-aniversario-de-los-royal-marines-en-gibraltar-25-octubre-201401_15437071009_o heritage122_39603308312_o img_0204_41972491870_o 1_Teleferico-Parte-Alta-del-Penon-17 img_9692_20842025933_o img_5325_48919602751_o 2g9a1983_49048521898_o img_1694_43916343214_o 25-abr-2019-visita-fabin-picardo-al-ies-virgen-de-la-esperanza-de-la-lnea-2_47644434832_o img_4642_23521811868_o img_9008_38364015011_o_26590188299_o OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA 2g9a9426_32308843676_o 2g9a9368_32228017081_o img_0190_36311391842_o img_9594_36197410725_o img_0443_36082676240_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-13_28981317203_o img_0458_36342184891_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-87_25326904529_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-16_30846311752_o 2g9a7462_29750673341_o 04-sep-2016-gibraltar-music-festival_29275181590_o 000-crowning-dsc_6134_18814191134_o 2g9a9521_27596416500_o 8-de-marzo-2016-reunin-de-fabin-picardo-con-miembros-del-psoe-14_25321519890_o 2g9a2123_26635255304_o gibraltar-300-aos-de-utrecht-1372013-17_9292081732_o img_3949_21067836431_o 20-de-agosto-2015-celebraciones-aniversario-sir-joshua-hassan-mar-del-sur-24_20569971310_o 7u3a1247_51681502788_o fabian-picardo-en-los-cursos-de-verano-de-san-roque-16072015-16_19558600850_o gibraltar-evacuation-dsc_3695_17816395278_o gibraltar-evacuation-dsc_4205_17816332748_o BP200031 fabin-picardo-ministro-principal-gibraltar-08_9222248825_o
